CraigDS:
Missed this Echo article when it was originally published, got 61 great pics of Anfield as it's been developed over the last 100 odd years.

Some excellent pics!

I note the Echo still don't provide a date for this:

The old thread is still in the History Forum: https://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=286005.0

Been meaning to post this pic for a while & reading with interest about the rapid progress of our new Anny Road stand, me memory was jogged so thought I'd post this here. Found it in my late Dad's old photos.

I had to ask on Twitter because I had no idea which ground it was. Thanks to a couple of fellers, Chet LFC and Paul Town, it was identified as Anfield  ;D

Chet said: 'Anfield between 1928 & 1937, looking towards Anfield & Kemlyn Rds corner from the Main Stand, Lake St/Kop side. The ARE roof was refurbished following the 1923 fire repair, in conjunction with new Kop going up, and the penalty arc is missing, which came into use in 1937.'

Looks like we had a scoreboard in those days too  :)
