Yup, and considering Jota looks like he’s made of glass we will need 5 decent strikers in the squad for cover.

Yep, not sure why people get so worked up about it! Still making contributions even if he is past his peak. We have 3 young forwards, why do we want to spend precious cash on buying a replacement? He's unlikely to be playing much for Brazil so he will be valuable for games around intl breaks.
If he wants to go or doesn't want to accept the offer, then no problem we'll deal with it but it's not an urgent priority.
