Thought Black Bird was excellent.Seems to also be known as The Falcon's Tale. For those that don't know the plot, a convict is offered the chance to have his sentence commuted if he can elicit a confession from a suspected serial killer.Taron Egerton is the main protagonist and is excellent (and fucking jacked by the way). The real star though is Paul Walter Hauser who plays the suspected serial killer, Larry Hall.
Theres a new 5 part series of Philomena Cunk on BBC2 as from Monday the 19th called Cunk on Earth.
It was & they were both excellent, the whole cast really. Thanks for that suggestion - I really enjoyed it - Both of the leads were brilliant and the supporting cast were good too
Berlin station. 10 part series. Excellent multi character complex spy drama filmed and set in Berlin.
Bad Sisters is so much fun. Look forward to every Friday morning.
There are three series in total, I've only ever seen the first one though and liked it a lot. Not seen the rest advertised ever, anywhere.
Shantaram stars 14th Oct on Apple. The book is fantastic.
Yep enjoyed the first series. It seems Correction has been taken up a level so far in the latest series, I’m not sure how plausible what they’re doing is but it’s still entertaining
As I've said before, the Full English is just the base upon which the Scots/Welsh/NI have improved upon. Sorry but the Full English is the worst of the British breakfasts.
Hmmm..It must be such a difficult book to film…. You've just got to get the tone correct for a start … and if it’s not perfect, the whole thing falls apart,
Have you seen it all, what did you think? I enjoyed it.
Yep thought it was really good. It almost felt more plausible the further they went. Good TV
Davidson, said: ‘Chubby’s comedy knows no bounds or limits and he believes that if an audience does not want to hear what he has to say it is best if they don’t come…but come they do, in their thousands.‘Roy was one of the biggest selling DVD entertainers of the last decade and Ustreme’s exclusive deal means we’ll now be streaming all of his shows and interviews.‘I’ve never actually worked with Roy, in fact I’ve never seen him live, but I have met him several times and a nicer bloke you couldn’t wish to meet. It is a great privilege to have Chubby signed to Ustreme and I’m sure that members will be glued to his outrageous antics.’
Yeah, I am expecting a series 3. Had a massive crush on Holliday Grainger since she was in Strike. She only lives in Didbsury, so I fancy my chances.
The very concept of Jim Davidson having a streaming service is bizarre, the odious gonk,
Five Days at Memorial is good TV.
guess you dont think there will be a 3rd series?
No,maybe just a single murder in the NW of England
Its just a crush, I promise
Just finished the first series of Star trek strange new worlds really enjoyed the series it doesn't take itself to seriously so much better than Star Trek Discovery that personally I got bored watching it in the end.
Finished the Old Man yesterday. I quite liked it, (I do like a good slow burn), ending fell flat a bit, but overall good.
Night Sky on Amazon is quite good. Only 2 eps in but enjoying it so far. Sissy Spacek and J. K. Simmons are both excellent in it.
Just burned through Season 1 of Deep State with Mark Strong. Another complicated spy drama filmed in multiple locations with good actors. Probably the most jumpy time line I’ve ever watched. Constantly jumping 2 or 3 years backwards and forwards. Does make it hard to follow. On Epix in the US.
