Came up at 08:20.  Seats I wanted and several others had already gone, so some people are getting priority access.

I think they went up 5 minutes late this morning. Nobody seems to have got them at 8:15.

That's possible.  It's odd though that (like the previous "late" sales) a few scattered seats were taken already.  The ones they take out for players, etc. are usually in a contiguous block.

I've emailed the TO to ask what's happening, but not expecting a meaningful response.  They'll probably tell me to clear my cookies or something.

That’s plainly what it is. They reserve a block of seats for hospitality. Says this on every sales notice:

Hospitality Members

Sir Kenny Dalglish Box holders, Premium Level and Centenary Club members should contact the hospitality department on 0151 264 2222, option 2.

They don’t, those hospo are in the same sale as everyone. The ones that aren’t available are players allocation, vvip hospo and sponsors.

It’s a ballot, you get an email saying it when it opens and closes. If successful you purchase in the first sale. At the start upto 2017 they’d block seats then changed it.  You only ring the number if you never get the email.

No chance from any other stand, they are not joined - think you would pretty much have to run on the pitch to get across the corner. Even in the cricket ground end I don't think you can, the segregation is usually well stewarded.

I’m going with a Burnley supporting workmate on a spare Burnley season ticket.
it’s not really fun sitting in a home stand and I said after last time I did it (West Brom away 2011) that I’d never do it again, but my mate thinks he’s doing me a massive favour and I’d be letting him down so I’ll go.

Cheers, I thought as much looking at seat view

I’ve sacked it off, not worth the trouble.
