Lots of people in here selected for NFC when it was only for 200 tickets. A lot more convenient than collection. I’d planned to work the morning. Might be difficult now.

I am hoping the NFC is throughout the whole time, so could go and scan at half time if needed.
They will have some collection at the stadium, just how long the queue is gonna be

But there were 25 tickets?

Mind pasting the email?

the page stayed up for ages though, it wouldn't have if those 25 just were purchased by the lucky few1s, few 2s and 3s + the exploiter. still a bit miffed by their end goal to be honest.

that's me possibly assuming the page was taken down when they actually looked into it and not because it actually sold out.

Thanks! They should invest in copy writers because the way that email is worded is shocking

Probably that people on 2 bought in the 1 credit sale? Only feasible explanation

Wording sounds as if there will be a returns sale for people on 2 and no 1 sale advertised at all?

Usually do a lot got leagues don't they but suppose with CL it's usually a bit more last min with ticket info

Might do one with Rangers because of what's happened

Yeah, only league away they didn’t do last season was Man City… no surprises there.

Haven’t received an email from the +3 or +1, guessing it’s a pick up from anfield, happy days!

You are one of a very small number of supporters who have credits and may have tried to purchase a ticket for this game which has now sold out.

We are aware of a few queries from supporters who felt they were unable to purchase a ticket before the sales criteria dropped who recorded one or more UEFA Champions League away games.

The ticket selling system is receiving an increasing number of people trying to hold tickets between sales and, although these are cleared down regularly, a small number of people still managed to get through the system to purchase tickets.

The sale to those with two credits was non guaranteed. There were a few people, less than 10, with one credit who managed to purchase a ticket in the sale.

We are reviewing the process to avoid this happening in future sales.

We would like to reassure you any returned tickets will go back on sale for those supporters with two credits until they sell out.

The club are implying that it isn’t much of a problem because less than 10 with one credit managed to buy tickets. But there’s even the problem of the leg up you can get as a person on 3 if you have a family/friend on 4.  Not convinced that the club fully accept there’s a problem - which is that their system can allow some to unfairly gain it.
Luck favours the brave, but not the stupid.

Anyone had a reply back from LFC Help/TO on when they expect Rangers away to be available for collection? Looking like might have snags getting down to pick up due to the TO opening times and they have to be picked up by 1200 Monday.

Alternatively has anyone managed to change pick up at TO to Postal?

I thought if one order was selected for collection, it was everyone in that order.
In our group we have an order of 3, and only one person has been notified. Is this right, or should everyone have had email/SMS and should be collecting?

He has checked contact details are correct on the order email

If I purchase tickets with other supporters in the same booking, will the whole booking be entered into the ballot, or will each supporter within the booking  be entered into the ballot individually?

Supporters who purchase tickets together in the same booking will be entered into the ballot as group. If the booking is randomly selected via the ballot, it will mean that all supporters within that booking will be selected.

Supporters who purchase one ticket when making a booking will be entered into the ballot as an individual.

so if by chance most the 'selected' individuals were bought in groups, doesn't that mean it'll be more people collecting than they suggested?

Thanks. So the lead booker does not have a ticket on the order, he just logged in to buy 3 mates one in the 3+ sale.
Lead booker no email, as expected. Then the first person listed has received SMS/email, but the next 2 haven't. Will wait until Friday when the collection info is sent, to see if they get contacted. If not, we will get onto chat then.

No, they will do it like they do the cup final and acs ballot. They will draw order numbers until the total number of individuals is up to the limit they have set.
800 people for collection, they will draw less than 800 orders to get to that level. Same with 200 for nfc

yes defo. It is really weird. We have checked email addresses on confirmation email, checked seat number on the collection email, and it is the ticket from that order.
I could understand one not coming through if a spelling mistake in email address, but no emails/sms on 2 of the 3.

It is the first ticket in the order confirmation email that has been messaged.

My mate bought for himself and two others in the 3+ sale, but it’s looking likely he’s going to be called in to work and won’t be able to make it. He’d offered me his ticket in that scenario, but has been selected for collection.

That mean there’s no way that I’ll be able to get that ticket, and it might go to waste??

Well, we’ve both got a shaved head  ;D

But not sure I fancy the trip up and running the risk of not getting it. Be devastated!

Surely there might be others in that situation, can’t imagine my mate will be the only one out of 800. Guess there might be a handful of returns to the club then in that case?

probably just worth going to the TO to chat with them, failing that just return it for somebody else as he will just lose the credit anyway
