If I was Eddie Hearn I would make it a condition that the Joshua v Wilder fight takes place in this country. He'll have massive doubts like us all that if the fight was to happen in the US and goes to the scorecards, Wilder will get it irrespective of how Joshua performs on the night. I still cannot get over the Mexicans scorecard.  ::)

Basically the fight was determined in a boardroom sometime in the previous 3 months. When a massive fight in the US goes to the judges you might aswell be watching WWE

UK is no better. It's not called 'British stoppage' for nothing

Yeah if it was in the UK then Fury would have been stopped.

Moaning about corruption in here but a draw is not a terrible result. I had Fury by one round but that's with one even. Give that to Wilder and it's a draw. Give one other to Wilder and he won.

The Mexican scorecard was terrible but I'm fine with the result.

Made up for Fury and look forward to the rematch.

Wilder does have a dig on him though!

It's so common that everyone just complains for a bit then moves on to the next fight. Corruption runs rife in boxing, it's a dirty sport.

Has to be dealt with now

Was ok when it was just on sky. But these are huge months long production pay per view events now. You’re cheating people

£20 please, oh and £20 again 6 months later ta. Can’t go on

It’s politics-esque how everyone is outraged for a bit, collective attention span moves on and then is shocked at the next shambolic scorecard.

Fury robbed  , some comeback from the knock down in the 12th .

2 huge punches to put Fury down but to get up from that and nearby take wilder out 30 secs later

Had fury winning all but 4 rounds

Sounds like Stevenson is in a bad way in hospital.

Looks like Karma caught up with Stevenson don't often wish hurt on other people but if anyone deserves to be in that position it is him.

Much like politics the people who should be investigating it stand to gain a lot from what happened

So it falls to the great unwashed to bitch about it

Is there a reason why boxers are treated so much better in the public eye than athletes when it comes to failing drug tests. Canelo, Fury, Whyte, Ortiz and probably countless others. You'd almost forget they failed tests. It is quite a curious phenomenon for me

Think the last few round ring rust kicked him. Don't forget he been out for 3 years and then the massive weight drop. Tyson should be a lot better in rematch

He (Fury) seems a bit different to how he was before his comeback.  Liked his words at the end of this piece to BT Sport.

AJ defence isn't half as good as Fury's so wilder is a legit threat on this fight

Very true. Also goes the other way, Fury doesn't punch as hard as AJ does. But you can't use this fight as proof that AJ beats either.

It could ave gone either way, I personally had it as a draw too. Them two 10-8 rounds were big for Wilder.

I thought Fury won but if every judge would have scored options 113-113 it wouldn’t have surprised me.

Watched the fight last night. Don't see what all the fuss is about to be honest.
Fury was knocked on his arse twice and Wilder was never in any sort of trouble.
I'm always of the opinion the challenger should do a fair bit more to take the champions belt, but I don't think Fury done anywhere near enough to be a clear winner.

I guess if he has any sense he’ll stay away from Fury...

Don’t think Wilder will fight AJ. If he does he’ll be beaten for sure IMO

Not really to be honest. Draw allows him to fight either but he still want wilder for the belts

Finally watched the fight. Boxing is judged round by round. That judges scorecard is impossible to explain. If you asked him to try and explain his justifications round by round he would not be able to. Fury got robbed. Have to say always been a Fury hater, and think I had very good reason to, but you know what, his comeback story has been great and he's proving himself to be a model for something positive. He could have easily came back and played the heel again. Fair play.

I think Wilder is more likely to take AJ's terms now.  He took a gamble that Fury was washed up so he could get a better slice of the AJ jackpot, and he very nearly lost his golden ticket in front of a half full stadium.  I wouldn't risk that again in a rematch if I were him, Fury will only get better from here.

I don't know what Fury does now, but I expect he'll want the rematch before Joshua.

Any mix of the 3 is fine with me, HW boxing is great at the moment.

Wilder should develop a body attack. He is so wild to the head but the body is more stationary. His connect would actually be better and he will hurt people badly downstairs.

That's not how the scoring system in boxing works though.

You score the round - fury won 9 easily probably 10.

Fury is a victim of his style

He landed 10 punches more then Wilder in the whole fight so is it beyond the realms of comprehension that some of those earlier rounds could have been seen the other way. I thought he won but by no means was it a robbery to me.

Wilder interested in fighting AJ next. Bet he is.

Hearn will be trying to make it happen for April. On his way to LA right now.

Wilder might want to cash in now.Fury might be left in the dark a little.

As others have said, Joshua/Wilder/Fury could be an exciting little trio over the next few years. 3 different styles. We might see something similar to the 70s where Frazier and Norton were torturing Ali but both got pummeled by Foreman, yet Ali handled Foreman. So goes the saying "Styles makes fights".
