He doesn't need to be a great player, he just needs to score goals and from what i've seen of him he'll be a 20 goals a year striker for us when he settles in the team. John Aldridge wasn't a great player technically but he knew where the goal was. With the sending off and the international nonsense we won't really see what he's about until after the sport washing cup in November
I'd agree with that. He doesn't need to be an all singing and dancing all-rounder. Putting the ball in the net on a regular basis is what counts. I loved Aldridge too. Just a fantastic no frills goal scorer.
I've never really watched Haarland so I might be speaking out of turn here, but I've heard plenty suggest he's not exactly an elegant swan of a player oozing with silky skills either. It just seems that he knows where the goal is and how to place a ball into it.
Some strikers are mesmerizing. I mean Suarez could blow your mind and often did, but others are no frills but just as lethal. If Nunez is one of those then I, for one, won't be complaining.
