It was decided because one boxer slaughtered the other

Bullshit. He was bleeding from the ear which affects balance. Fury did nothing extraordinary, it wasn't some boxing masterclass, it was an early injury that decided the outcome.

How did he get that injury? He didn't fall over or get hit by a car. Fury was superb, dominated Wilder and had him off his feet twice. This was won because Fury didnt let Wilder breath or give him a minute to recover.

Which caused the burst ear drum. Again, i don't say Fury shouldn't have won, I'm saying he burst his ear drum and that's why Wilder was like a dead man walking afterwards.

A Good punch it was, a masterclass it wasn't.

Thought Bayliss did a good job myself. He's got to break up the clinches if no punches are being thrown and they are just leaning on each other.

Fury battered him from the off. He is the best heavyweight in the world. AJ won't be able to handle that.

Don't see the point in Fury v Wilder 3 but Wilder will want the rematch because he will have no where to go and too much money in it.

It's a legal tactic in boxing. There was nothing wrong with what Fury was doing. Elbows tucked in the whole time and couldn't throw body shots when Wilder was on the ropes because the ref was being a dick. Wilder's power only works when there's distance, and Fury doing what he was doing was smart.

To dismiss it as just a 'bust ear drum' is ridiculous though, he was like that cos Fury hit him with a right hand.

i feel like decided is too much, especially since we don't know. but the way he said it, he makes it sound like a burst eardrum in a heavyweight boxing match is a really poor stroke of luck. it's not like lennox grazing the corner of vitali's eye with a missed punch and the match having to be stopped

Course. But Fury caused the injury by smashing him up. Bit like saying someone only lost cos their opponent broke his nose and a couple of ribs. I’m sure he invokes the rematch though. If he doesn’t get hit right there I’m sure the fight would have gone longer and Wilders got about the best ‘punchers chance’ in the world.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Some bad beauts in here with an agenda purely based on their dislike of fury.

“He’s only fought Klitschko and Wilder of note”

Vlad who had the HW division on a jab length string for the best part of a decade. That’s wilder with a 40+ winning record and 98% KO rate until today. Moaning about leaning in and using weight with elbows tucked in, fucking clueless.

You spunked money on Wilder because you hate fury, it’s now 6am and you’re raging so you’ve jumped on a message board to try and put forward an argument that that performance wasn’t of note. Jokers.

Absofuckinglutely superb.

He’ll unify the division, make Joshua look even more of a mug than he did Wilder. Won the first fight after near enough destroying his body and mind, won the second with no doubt about it.

The best since Lennox and one of the greatest of all time.

Too early for that talk. He has two great wins but he 2-0-1 in title fights.
