KOLO KOLO KOLO KOLO

Happy with this, take up Carra's spot.

This is a very important spot given Agger's history of injuries. Exactly the player we needed, City fans didn't seem too happy to be losing him too which is always a good sign

I think we're building a good squad. Kolo will bring in much needed competition and a good attitude.

Can I have some more please?

I look forward to him proving me wrong.

Why would you be excited about signing a 32 year old backup player anyway?

He fills out the squad and will provide some good experience at the back. It's a decent signing but hardly one to get excited over. I'm sure those types of signing will be coming in the next few weeks.

What kind of signing he is will depend on the rest of the window. Right now he is an experienced player who is a smart signing to fill in and help play alongside the kids and aid their development.
Come August if we have no other defenders signed everything goes mental.
Think it is a canny piece of business if the reported wages of 40,000 are true.

Like the way we've catupulted ourselves into the Transfer market.
No nonsense, no wasting time, prepared targets and being smart with the money.
I like it, I like this transfer much more then simply getting a smart backup for little money.
Have we really turned the corner past winter?

We don't have much to lose here. He's an experienced player who adds depth and still has the hunger to command a first team place at a club like ours at this stage of his career. I struggle to see superior alternatives to him given the fact that he is basically a replacement for Carra.

When I heard we were interested I thought WTF. But after thinkin abar it, its a decent signing. Toure has been a winner and has a winning mentality. Something we need in the dressing room and he will guide the younger more inexperienced lads.

Good Luck Kolo.

Best case: he's a Gary Macca style signing, injecting much needed experience into a young team.

Worst case: he plays as back up, a handful of games in the season and trains every day with Kelly, Wisdom and Coady, benefiting them no end.

Can't see a lot of negatives in this one.
