best comic book character?
Daredevil. Crusading dynamo lawyer by day, masked crimefighter by night. Is one of the only disabled superheroes (along with Charles Xavier) because he leapt in front of a radioactive truck to save someone's life when he was a kid, yet he's so great at his job no one even notices, plus he's the biggest lothario in the Marvel universe this side of Tony Stark.

If you could recreate the Simpsons softball episode with players from the current Premier League, who would you choose? One player per team, all 11 positions must be represented and choices should be made for quirkiness/entertainment value as well as ability.

No. But the club won’t care, and neither will the cry arses in the numerous match/ player threads on here. In fact, the vast majority of the sickening c*nts would welcome it.

When was the last time you watched a PL game live? (Over ten years for me now).

A mate's girlfriend has Spurs season tickets along with her family so I went with them to see the Everton game, which was predictably dire. It seems to be virtually impossible to get Anfield tickets.

I'm tempted to ask how anyone can not have seen the Simpsons in this day and age but instead, what's the most famous and ubiquitous cultural touchstone you've never experienced?

I think extra do a bubblegum flavour which is nice, but cant go wrong with spearmint.

Why would you look at a thread which is asking a question specifically and just go....

Bow-legged since I think you can have surgery to improve/treat this. Knock knees comes with progressive arthritis of the knee.

Do you wear shoes in the house? Not just to walk in but actively wear shoes when walking round the house, sitting on the couch etc..

In the pub, I like being out in company. Also Fellas who I know who drink at home all drink far too much than is healthy, so its not a road I want to go down.

While on a mates 40th in Vegas I somehow walked out of the room and found myself disoriented and naked from the waist down attempting to avade the two security guards who'd been called to the floor as there was a half naked (waist down naked) fella running about who'd forgotten what room he was in.

Thankfully they were absolutely sound. Calmed me down and located my room and let me in. Saw them both later in the holiday and apologised to them.

What's one place you've been to on holiday and would never, ever go back to.

Vegas.  Too many half-naked drunks wandering around.

Yes I do - the future of the PL depends on what punishment they get. If the PL were only going to fine them, they'd have already done it and glossed over it.

Do you think the "internet sleuths" who have turned up where Nicola Bulley vanished genuinely want to help, or are they just a bunch of attention seeking fucknuggets?

a lot are fucknuggets but some i think others are genuinely intrigued by the disappearance - if i lived nearby then i'd go down and see if i could contribute to solving the 'mystery' obviously not spoiling evidence and getting in the way of an investigation though

on that subject - who is your favourite tv detective/police officer/police lieutenant etc (you get the picture)

Have you ever had a dream which actually ended up coming true? I just had a dream about me murdering two people and getting nicked for it then getting 20 years. Very weird stuff.

Her name was Lisa, she was 14, I was 13, she lived opposite my Uncles house in Whiston. We used to walk into the farmers fields near Cronton and hold hands and all that stuff. I sometimes wonder what happened to her.

My question, does dreaming vividly of someone mean anything?

Dreams are very complex and beyond our understanding. I do think sometimes real life events manifest in the form of dreams and that includes people close to us appearing in them.

Mine are very basic. Always pack the night before like most people. But when you are walking out the door and you know you may have left something, I decide to double check my passport, credit card and any tickets I need. Nothing else really matters.

I remember going on a big trip with a now ex wife and saying the same thing to here over and over before the trip, passport and credit card, don't sweat the rest. She forgets her passport, then tries to blame me for rushing her at the end.

Indianapolis 2005 was pretty bad ;)

[Frank Lampard]Seriously though, just trying to get through at 8am. I've never had a 'bad' one as such, usually it's ringing up to up/down prescriptions or query something, but the awful way it's done in this country at the moment where it's "set the alarm for half 7 to make sure I'm at the phone to hit dial at 08:00:01" is horrific.

Yes, have done since I was a kid and I can't be stopped.  Tried everything, even taped them at one point.  Definitely a nerves thing, I go to town on them during Liverpool matches.

Played at a fairly decent level until my mid-30s.
Carried on playing 5 a-sides, etc until I was in my early 50s.
