Just had a quick look earlier at the European leagues. Nothing too out of the ordinary but three observations I came up with;

1. When did Atalanta become so good? Sitting pretty in 3rd place currently.
2. Monaco can't be that bad? They've fallen so far it's unreal.
3. Where did it all go wrong for Dortmund? They were in the driving seat just a few weeks ago.

I think Dortmund 'suffered' from over-achieving in the 1st half of the season, so when they stopped that, and played more to the level many expected, it looked like they'd blown it. But it has to be said, they did go to shit recently, partly due to injuries, and partly due to a coach who wasn't really getting the best out of his team.  And then unfortunately for them, Bayern went on an amazing run. But, there is still one game to go! One more chance.

Unfortunately though it looks like ending up like us. There have been a couple of great title races this season but ultimately it’s another yawn fest: City, Bayern, Juve, Barca, PSG. Barca the lesser of two evils over Real but the rest are far too predictable.

but it hasn't been a 'yawnfest' in the Prem and Bundesliga has it. France, Italy and Spain yes, dull as dishwater, all leagues decided weeks in advance. Not sure what the European or relegation fights where like in France, Italy and Spain though, if that kept things interesting. It did in Germany, still not decided going into the last week.

Sure, the 'wrong' teams won in England and Germany (well, not yet won in Germany), but it's really not been boring.

Barca are as evil as Real, so I don't agree on that by the way  :P  Both are worthy of nothing but disdain.

I was referring to the eventual outcomes being yawn fests, city on the podium at Brighton, didn’t even look bothered. What would that have meant to Liverpool? As I said a couple of close races but ultimately the spoils to the bad guys.
