What's your bold predictions for the next season?
« on: August 4, 2018, 05:32:56 am »
For example, this is my 5 early bold predictions for our season

1) Shaqiri will score a winner in the last minute!

2) Keita to reach double figures for goals and assists in all competitions and will be player of the season.

3) Mane will be our top scorer in the league.

4) Salah and Firmino to score a hatrick in the same game.

5) VVD to score 5 goals.

1) Sturridge will have a revived year be vital this year. English press will lose their shit cause he'll setill be second choice.

2) Keita will be PFA player of the year.

3) Shaqiri will be signing of the season value for money wise.

4) We'll finish third behind City and Chelsea.

5) Henderson will struggle for game time from Jan/Feb when ox will make an early comeback, and won't feature in important CL games, leading to a press meltdown about evil Klopp benching honest and hardworking Hendo.

Greens and browns worn with the look of the Fall, with a piss stained and incoherent look. Knitwear with treble fold over roll necks with cut back sleeve to the shoulders, turns heads and allows him to show his masculinity, worn with tight tartan shorts cut to the cheek and Cuban heels. Plain is gauche and should be avoided, think Tony Hart meets Pietre Brassau. Work it.

Mime is the new medium for communication and should be used wherever and whenever.

For the ladies, its all about that desperate inner feeling of wanting to fit in, so the Leena Zavarnoi look is you, wear it loose and and the Blue Peter famine appeal, is the look the ladies are wanting. Bin bags are the new must have accessory, Collen has already been spotted sporting the new range from Binman. Body art and pierced eye balls worn with a tattoo sleeve with of various stars, hearts, playing cards and mispeleded wording, is a great addition the the 'Lena' look. Vaginal Acid Attack is the ladies new sound. Be more than you need to be.

Bold T's with simple slogans work, a hark back to the 80's

With Van Dijk, Fabinho and Keita in front of him, you never know!

I think he'll save all the penalties that we'll concede.

1) Sturridge will go the season without being injured
2) Ditto Lallana
3) Ox will be back by March
4) Liverpool win the league by April
5) Everton are relegated - wait, does that count as a bold prediction?

Others:

6) Mourhino out before Christmas
7) Silva leaves Everton to join Man United, hence 5, above. ;D

1. We surpass the 80 point mark and concede less than 30 goals in the league
2. Lallana has a (fairly) injury free season
3. Keita has a couple of minor injuries in a short space of time and somebody refers to him as the "next Sturridge"
4. We see Ox play a few minutes before the end of the season
5. Salah has a down year, still finishes as our top scorer, but with Mane close behind

Here are my predictions in bold.

1. Our midfielders score more than last season.
2. Our defence concedes far less than last season.
3. Shaq is this seasons Salah (e.g. expected cover for another player but who becomes core to the team).
4. We win the league.

Non-LFC predictions.

1. Moanrinho doesn't complete the season.
2. Chelsea is sold and subsequently becomes a mid table team.

1. People will want Alisson dropped after 10 games for conceding an unsaveable goal to one of Chelsea/Spurs/City.

2. We will cause a huge scalp against a Pot 1 or 2 team in the Champions League group stage, sending another favourite crashing out into Europa League.

3. We will win a cup final against 'lesser opposition' in a final just as dramatic as West Ham, Cardiff, Istanbul etc. There'll be an iconic photo of Jurgen being thrown into the air by our players

4. This year we'll beat Jose's Utd in the league so badly, it will be the beginning of their fans calling for his head.

5. Salah will score less in the league but more goals overall than last season.

6. (Bonus)  We will sign a player in January out no nowhere with such a big rep, for such a big fee, that it will make people's heads fall off.
