The Allerton Oak - VOTE European tree of the year
« Reply #42 on: February 27, 2020, 09:07:34 pm »

This historic, majestic tree which dates back to 1066 has already won England Tree of the Year.
Click on the link to see it and vote for European Tree of the Year. Please folks.

Once on the site, you have to select 2 trees by ticking the green button by the tree - AVOID the Russian tree, apparently it was winning yesterday. Then enter your email address, verify you're not a robot then vote. You also need to verify your vote via an email link.
Sounds a pain but it takes 60 seconds and you'll make Liverpool European winners again :wave

Done .

The Spanish Three legged Oak does look impressive though. Somewhere to kip too.

Select the bottom right circle and a checkbox will appear, you have to select two entries, then a "Let's Vote" button will appear on the brown toolbar or whatever it's called at the bottom of the page. You might have to scroll up and down a bit for it to appear, it's not the cleanest way of displaying info to the user.

After that you have to enter your e-mail address and click on the confirmation link in the e-mail you receive.

Perfect thank you I'll go do it properly now [emoji106]

I've tried again but still not sure if its worked cos I've not had an email to verify but why isn't there an English option in the instructions so I know what I'm doing?

Yay it's worked!!

1. Allerton
2. Oak Vallonea of Tricase (cause it looks cool and I bet it gets no votes cause it's not leafy)

Some good trees!

Ta mate, we were informed on Wednesday that the Russian tree was forests ahead, I think it displayed the current voting situation. When I voted on Thursday it stated closed viewing, which I understand.
We have all day tomorrow to be European Champions, spread the word folks.

Up the fucking Oak.

Anger as council presses on with Calderstones Park court challenge

Ridiculous by the council. So much brown belt land to build on and redevelop. But nooooo let's hive up the parks and concrete over more grass, cos that's fuckin easy........
