Hi Everyone! Missed out on tickets this year for the first time since 2002!

I’ve entered every competition under the sun but no luck, until now.

WaterAid are running a competition to design a temporary tattoo, and my design has been shortlisted among five finalists. The winner wins a ticket!

If you can spare a few seconds, please vote for design 1 (mine) below! There is another pair of tickets up for grabs for anybody who votes.

Ta!

https://www.wateraid.org/uk/win-glastonbury-tickets/vote

Voted for you mate, good luck!

What a way to kick off a festival.

Was hoping it was Pulp but still reckon they’ll be there too.

Foo fighters will pull a huge crowd, their set in 2017 was fantastic.

A rumour going around on Fromes Facebook that Eminem may be planning to do a warm-up gig at Fromes Cheese and Grain.

Always happens this time of year when its close to Glastonbury mind you the rumours were right about the Foo Fighters and Paul McCartney who played there, the only one I managed to get into was when The Editors did one.

it will be interesting to see if the rumour turns out to be true.

Cat Burns - Woodsies at 3.30pm Sunday. Saw her on Jools Holland, she’s good.

Just noticed there’s someone called DJ Absolutely Shit, I’m intrigued just for the name.

Full set times,

https://glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/line-up/line-up-2023/?stage

One of the stages has Daniel Avery, Max Cooper, Helena Hauff and Ben Bohmer on consecutively, many of you probably won't have heard of them, but fans of electronic music will, saw Max Cooper live in February and he was outstanding.

Just looking at the lineup.  I think id be at the Acoustic Stage on Friday night if I was there

Steve Earle followed by the Saw Doctors.

After Saw Doctors, it's then over to the Avalon Stage for The Damned.

Will the Acoustic and Avalon Stages be available to watch live on BBC coverage do you know?

Looking forward to Blondie on Sunday early evening. Great stuff.

Depends on the band more than the stage, some refuse to allow a live feed & only release after the engineers have done their magic.

Knowing the Beeb they'll put some exclusively on their youtube channel to dive up subs.

No mate - BBC iPlayer will be streaming each of the five filmed stages – Pyramid, Other, Woodsies, Park and West Holt.

I was a bit gutted las year missing a few bands on stages other than the above.

The Pretenders have just been announced as one of Glastonbury’s secret acts
The English-American band has revealed they will be performing on Saturday, 19:45 BST, at The Park Stage. The band also teased some special guests though their identities have not been disclosed.

“It’s always been there for most of our lifetimes. There has never been a festival like it anywhere else,” lead singer Chrissie Hynde said.

Highly doubtful at this late stage in the day, pretty much all the secret acts are accounted for. Among them are Hozier and Rick Astley with Blossoms doing covers of the Smiths. Won't be anywhere near either of those.

Seems a shame that Alvvays aren't playing Glastonbury this year, after the success of their third album last year - they toured the UK & Europe last autumn and again about a month ago, so the timing wouldn't have been far off.

Got a long weekend booked, so looking forward to getting in front of the tele for plenty of this over the next few days.

It's not that bad at all on the way in my experience, and the way back depends entirely on how much you've 'enjoyed' your weekend. I guess different arrival times will be busier etc. but last time I did it I got in on the Thursday evening about 7ish I think and it was sound. The journey back was the worst experience of my life but that was absolutely nothing to do with the traffic etc.
3 midfielders minimum in the next window. And probably another young CB to boot.

Foo Fighters certainly seem the most likely, though I've also heard/read a few suggest it could be Pulp.

There's also a TBC slot at 6pm tomorrow on the newly-named 'Woodsies' stage.
