If you can't get up and really give it starting tomorrow and the rest of the run in, you should really pack it in. Need that 2013/14 energy.

It’s a 12:30 KO v Watford so with the best will in the world it’s not likely to be an absolute belter of an atmosphere.

The current situation coupled with Klopp’s rallying call probably mean it’ll be a better atmosphere than a normal 12:30 KO.

Not a criticism but been to enough 12:30 games to know the atmosphere will never be that raucous.
I think Jookie might just be the best fisherman on this thread.

Tomorrow would be a perfect time to change that. Been to loads of 12:30's too and it is strange how flat the atmosphere can be. At least its not New Years Day tomorrow, it'd be shite if it was.

12:30 KO can feel like everyone is still half asleep.

Not sure if it’s hangovers, less drinking time, people preoccupied with otter stuff etc.. whatever the reason it’s hard to get a good atmosphere at Anfield at a early Saturday KO.

Been to quite a few games v United at that KO slot and it’s been as flat as a 3pm versus mid table fodder.

Hopefully tomorrow is the day that changes!

It’ll be dead as fuck and Jurgen knows it too that’s why he hates that kick off time. We will need to go behind or be struggling to break through on the 60th minute for Anfield to get fired up.

I like that JK has called for a big 1230 atmosphere.  Watching on TV it sounds really quiet for large chunks of recent games. I had put it down to the TV mics being low but for those at the games, has it been that bad?

Its nothing to do with the time its the people in the ground. Like Jurgen said if you cannot shout and sing, stay at home and give your ticket to somebody else, please.
Speaking as a 66 yro we really need to be getting more youngsters on the Kop to many oldens.

Don't think we'll get one tomorrow but Benfica at home is a possibility, and anything beyond that I'd say.

Considering the performance and that it's Watford at 12:30, that was quite good. First 30 minutes in particular the crowd was right up for it. Always difficult once everyone relaxes at 1-0 to keep it going.

Yeah agreed. Think generally everyone put a bit of effort into that. Not perfect of course but given the time and the opposition vert decent.
3 midfielders minimum in the next window. And probably another young CB to boot.

Yeah that’s fair enough, second half pretty dire though. Think the nerves were obvious.

Thought it was good all things considered. A few tense moments when you could have heard a pin drop but otherwise was louder than normal for a lunchtime game I reckon.
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

Just a case of getting out of it with a win. 12.30 Saturday kick off after international break against a team battling relegation, loads of key players with World Cup play offs, Klopp was concerned enough to try and get the fans going more.

We were in full control of the game bar the odd chance they had, you just know 1-0 isn't always enough.

Thought it was good to be honest. Was in the Annie 129. Everybody was standing for first ten minutes until the stewards made everyone sit. I have more empathy for Annie Roaders than Kopites because in those back four rows you can't see anything when people are standing. But even when sat, the atmosphere was very good for the Annie.

Had to walk past around four creatures at the end, holding up those signs. And they weren't kids. And despite the creatures - it was still good!

The Main Stand started a couple of songs. That's something you deffo didn't get in the old days.

I am dreading BT Sport asking for more of our games for the 12:30 kick-off. The Newcastle game already has that and if this title race is on for May I am not looking forward to more 12:30 games, the atmosphere and performance always struggle

Fair play to Benfica fans - excellent from start to finish.

Very similar to Inter - felt a lot of fans assumed it was over from the start.

Probably the best atmosphere all season, only dropped off a bit before half time. Good signs as we get to the business end. Hopefully a positive result on Saturday will crank it up on Tuesday and not the opposite if we don’t.
