Could be moved to the Friday night if Porto put us out. If we make it to the semis I don’t see how that Newcastle game can be anything other that Saturday. What time on Saturday is still a mystery though.
OK thanks for that.
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

The only move that'll happen is a swap with City I think. Uefa will probably fix the fixtures so we play Tuesday/Wednesday and City Wednesday/Tuesday anyway.

Uefa get to choose which teams play on said days. From what I've read not confirmed tho semi final 1 will play Tuesday first leg and 2nd leg Wednesday and vice versa that's how they've done it last few seasons. We are drawn out into semi final 2 so the fixtures should end up moving but surely the PL should of known this beforehand

The one and two thing is completely irrelevant. Doesn’t matter.

If you look, us and united are in one semi, Spurs and City the other. The Premier League will have cleared all of this already with UEFA. Have a look when City, Spurs and United all play. City 12.30 Saturday and Spurs 8pm
Monday, so if Spurs win they’ll swap. If we play United and City get knocked out, they aren’t going to move us both to Saturday, move Spurs to Sunday and City to Monday. Far too much messing.

Worth remembering that it doesn’t matter at all which way round the semis are to UEFA.

The way I see it - Liverpool play huddersfield on the Friday night, meaning it makes sense for our semi final to be the Tuesday game, especially if Barca beat United as they play the Saturday. That means the return leg will be the Wednesday meaning Newcastle doesnt move.

Major downside of being 2nd semi if Spurs or City Make the final is all direct flights and reasonable accomodation will be gone.

When I looked yesterday there wasn’t a room in Madrid for under Ł400.

Last 'Super Sunday' of the season before the final day. Sky will probably want a title race narrative for it

Looks like the arseholes involved aren't in any rush to announce the rearranged league fixtures. Just over two weeks away, not as if match-going fans have travel or anything to sort.  ::)

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47996635 - us and Spurs have had the games on May 5th and 6th moved to the 4th, times not confirmed yet. City's game has been moved to the 6th, so we get to play before them.

Been trying to diarise key dates on TV so I can hopefully get cheap train tickets.

Should be announced today I think? What time and where is updated first, please?

i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.
