good documentary, sometimes difficult to watch...

you have to admire and love the club after watching it, even more.

No thanks I'd rather give a living legend a few quid. I'm sure he's doing ok but he wasn't on gazillions as a player.

not sure its going to make any difference to Kenny himself, he's doing all right, have you seen his house ?

Buying the film does however put money into the film makers account who I imagine aren't making huge profits on this. It also profits the distributers (DVDs anyone? ) and Amazon who are streaming it in the UK (only so far as i know).

Personally i have no qualms about reducing Amazons bottom line but do feel that the Film makers deserve their cut.

Fiver in Sainsbury's I noticed today.
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

Excellent watch.
Most eye opening part for me wasnt football related,it was that bitch Thatcher saying that systematic removal of funding for Merseyside was a plan. No wonder Scousers regard themselves as a republic in this country.Scummy Tory f##ckpigs.

Rant over, had me in tears a few times.

Watched it this morning - what a man! Couldn't help but get upset when they did a chapter about Hillsborough. What he's done for this club is nothing short of legendary.

We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

'Kenny' is up on the BBC iPlayer for the next 27 days - https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0b57pqy/kenny

The BBC blurb...

'The unique story of a man whose life and career have become entwined with the fortunes of his adopted city of Liverpool. Known as 'The King', Kenny Dalglish was revered by fans during his time at Liverpool FC, where as a player and manager he won 27 major trophies.

However, arguably his greatest challenge came in the aftermath of the Hillsborough stadium tragedy, when he became a beacon of hope and strength in the fight for justice that followed. Uplifting, powerful, funny but at times truly heartbreaking, Kenny is a portrait of a proud Scotsman who captured the hearts of everyone on Merseyside.'

Tomorrow night at 9 on LFCTV, When We Were Kings. Dalglish and Souness talk about the glory days.

Its emotional. The greatest man that's ever been associated with this club, for me.
It ain't what you takin', it's who you takin' from, ya feel me? How you expect to run with the wolves come night when you spend all day sparring with the puppies?

Quite shamefully I've only just got the chance to watch this.
I'm lost for words. My love, respect & admiration for this man is off the scale. I never knew he was at the Ibrox disaster!
What this man has been through is beyond words apart from being one of the survivors or the families.
I'm not ashamed to say I was in floods of tears by the end of the film.
We should be naming the whole stadium after him never mind 1 stand & even this would not be tribute enough.
If you've not seen this then seek it out asap.

Yes, I second that.
I also found out from the Documentary that he was at the Ibrox disaster, and that he cannot bring himself to go to Hillsborough anymore. Very moving. He is indeed a great man.
