It's $20 until August 1st.

https://www.nbcsports.com/gold/premier-league

Pirate streams work for me for the few matches I want to watch.

One of the great things about Fox Soccer Match Pass was the option to watch games using “tactical view”. It was a higher camera angle which showed the whole field and didn’t have any replays or announcers. The only sound was from the crowd. There were also a couple of similar, but slightly different, camera angles to choose from as well.

Does NBC Gold have any similar options?  I’d get it in a heartbeat if it does.

You actually got the app to work consistently?  I don't remember ever a "tactical view" either but for things like NFL or college football.  It was $10.99 a month if I remember correctly and never worked for me but no, NBCSN gold doesn't have that option.

Yeah, I had no problems with the app.  The tactical view was literally the only good thing about Fox having Champions League games.  If I watched a lot of the Bundesliga I would get the app but I just don't watch enough games to justify it.  And, it's $19.99/month or $139.99/year now so a little pricey too.

ESPN+ 's Katie Nolan got tickets to Anfield for the Tottenham game, and did a 20 minute special on her visit to Anfield, and it was kinda cool to see the side of Anfield that we Yanks don't normally see.

She fangirls a lot, but that is kinda cool. (Admittedly, I would be fanboying hard too)

One cringey moment for me was at the end, but I guess it's traditional. Nolan finishes by saying "And as a wise men once said: "Up the (Bleep)ing Reds".

http://www.espn.com/soccer/club/liverpool/364/blog/post/3815073/katie-nolan-goes-to-liverpool-to-watch-her-beloved-reds

(they have a 1 minute blurb from it, wish ESPN+ wasn't behind a paywall so other Red Fans can see how they portray it (seemed to me like it was pretty positive)

What channel is that? I can't locate it on my DirecTV guide - but when I look it up I find just the game via search. Very weirdly it doesn't tell me what channel.

Showing Spurs/Man City makes sense. Going the other way round would have no one paying for their service. This way they have a chance. Not to say it’s anything but a disgrace that all four quarters aren’t available on TV.

I actually understand some, though I should be fluent as my wife is from Ecuador.  Watched the World Cup almost entirely in Spanish due to a combo of her family being around a lot and the Fox announcers (Lalas) being so awful.

With that said watching a game in Spanish is always an improvement as regardless of what is going on they are speaking LOUDLY at all times even if the ball is barely in play, just a good time :)

Am I alone in my feelings of hostility towards Dixon and Le seaux?

Le Saux was shameful in Friday's game with the Keita challenge in the box that should have been a penalty for us. Could hardly believe what I was hearing.
You cannot call overseas Liverpool supporters glory hunters. We’ve won one trophy this decade. If they’re glory hunters, they’re really bad ones. They’re actually journey hunters. It’s the journey and the story. Something about Liverpool has grabbed them." - Neil Atkinson (May, 2019)

They're no where near as bad as most of the UK based commentators let alone the Fox ones.  Le Saux didn't think it was a penalty which is his opinion, not sure how it was shameful.
