Arguably the entire team had an off day in front of goal yesterday. But someone should really tell Mane that he needs to shoot between the sticks. Really am finding it hard to believe that we were not 6-0 up halfway the 2nd half and almost got eliminated if it wasn't for yet another brilliant Allison save.

We really need to become lethal in front of goal if we are ever to land our 1st ever PL title.

really funny thing I noticed on the miss where Mo cut the ball back to him and he missed.

He did a little hop and skip because he really thought that Mo wasn't going to pass to him and the chance was gone - instead the ball is cut back beautifully and in my opinion he isn't ready for it completely and curls it wide.

You worry when a striker is not getting in positions to score, not when he goes through a phase of nothing going in for him.
Most strikers have these patches of nothing going right in front of goal, he needs to get a goal anyway possible diverted off his backside anything,  and he will be back to normal. also despite the misses he had a decent game and contributed to the result.

Mane is that kind of player.  He just runs hot and cold.  Often in the same match.  It’s the way he is.  If you bench a player for missing a couple of chances in a game then you Detroit their confidence and make them doubt themselves in moments of pressure.
