Anyone got any experience of greyhound betting tipster services.... just done a 24hr trial with one particular WhatsApp service and must admit was pretty impressed..I was only staking small sums on their tips as a trial, but if I’d staked higher then would of made £100s over the day.... they charge £150 for 12 months access

I lay greyhounds a lot on Betfair and I reckon anything can win, even the red hot favourites can run into the back of a 20/1 on the bend and lose all chance.

Are you laying favourites or following a particular system mate?

EUROVISION

Netherlands odds on fav at 10/11, suspect it will win, but looks to be quite close this year.

Iceland at 20/1 seems to be pick of the bunch imo. Likely to do well on Jury vote and it's going to be the song that everyone talks about.

Good tennis from Conta so far against Bertens in Roma semis. If she lose first though Im afraid she will bust. 6:2: or 6:1 to Bertens in the second set.

Ben Stokes, Sports personality of the year, 7/4 with a few bookmakers.
I thought he would be long odds on before I checked the price, great bet.
It might take our producers five minutes to find 60 economists who feared Brexit and five hours to find a sole voice who espoused it.

Good price but if someone like Westwood won the open golf this weekend he’d have no chance

Westwood might be a good price...

Yeah,I hadn't given much thought to a British winner of the open, I suppose Justin Rose is the most likely British winner. I wouldn't say a British winner of the Golf rules out Stokes though but it would make it closer.

Yeah,I think he's done enough already but if he comes out of the Ashes as a hero then you will not be getting 7/4.

Also, some others are offering better prices generally, with some at 10 places, some at 9 etc.

I've put all my bets on with William Hill, as they are only offering 9 places but most players are at least a point or 2 longer than Sky. That's the problem with some Golf bets, the ones offering the most places shorten the odds to make up for it. Eg. Sky, although they are most places, not 1 of the players are at best price with them on Oddschecker.

Does anyone know much about Baseball betting? I like Baseball and bet on it for a bit of interest really, but if a game is called off at the top of the 9th, and the game is tied and is called that way, does the 8 1/2 innings rule still apply when it comes to the run total?

I mean, the rules state that the game must go the full 9 innings (or 8 1/2 if the home team is leading) for bets to have action. The game was called off at the top of the ninth with the game tied, so the wager is void, no? Or am I missing something?

Probably best checking the T&C's on whatever site you bet on. Some bookies might be different.
For example, I know some bookies credit an assist to the player that gets fouled if a goal is scored direct from the resulting free kick, whereas others dont

I guess this is the ghost thread now  ;D

I think Whyte is probably overpriced at 5/4 to via win TKO; it could go 12 but I don't see it happening to be honest. Whyte was awful last time out, and I can see him wanting to make a statement; especially since Joshua KO'd Povetkin.

I'm also interested in Babic vs Winters. Winters is 39 and was KO'd by Parker recently, but is a decent enough fighter when he fancies it. Babic has 3 KO wins against extremely poor opposition. I've no idea why Winters is 10/3 to win by stoppage but I might find out to my cost later  ;D Also chancing him in rounds 1-4 at 13/2.

I'm quite sweet on Doc Redman at the Bermuda Championship on the PGA Tour this week. The field is incredibly weak and this lad is due for a breakthrough win. He's gone close a couple of times already and he's a quality ball striker who should have plenty of good looks at birdie on a course that is going to yield some very low numbers.

He's around 25-1, but if you snoop around you might get 33s.

Not to be for Redman today, will definitely get some top 10 money and top 5 is still possible but he just hasn't holed any putts and Clark is running away with it.

He's been the leader or within a couple of shots of the lead all week, he's played great golf and had a one shot lead going into today but just seemed to play within himself. I'll end up in profit with the top 10 and top 5 and the EW but it could've been so much better.

Norwegian hockey today. VIF v Sparta. VIF would still be favourites, but Sparta is returning from long corona-break (17 players out). They will also be playing 4 games in 8 days, so I think they will pretty much let this one go.. I will be looking at handicaps for this one..
It’s not even about individuality, it’s about the team. Our game was based on his controlling of the tempo. Squeeze the life out of the opposition and then strike. That is our game. Like a pack of pythons.

I'm wasting some cash on Poirier to win in round 4 at 33/1 and round 5 at 33/1. McGregor will probably flatten him in a round again but he has been inactive and prone to fatiguing in fights so if he doesn't get it done early, he could be vulnerable.

Joe Cordina/Anthony Fowler KO double @5.56/1 William Hill

They are both in what look like gimmes (famous last words) and though the opponents are tough, I'm hoping some compassionate ref can 'save' them from further punishment sometime before the final bell
