Ticket Pricing Caps
« on: June 12, 2019, 10:11:30 am »
So following on from the renewal of the Premier League Away Cap at £30, Norwich City have announced today they are going to charge their home supporters the same.

Great to see.. if only other clubs would follow suit (considering the amount they get from everywhere else - TV/Sponsorships etc)

I wonder how much they were charging last season for tickets? Won’t be anywhere near what the big clubs charge

Encouraging to see.

Do Norwich generally sell out? The annoying thing is our club could charge £80 and it will still sell out. Thankfully our owners seem to listen pretty well when lobbied.

Not sure about 18/19 but for the previous season, the cheapest ticket was £18 and the most expensive was £45 (in 16/17 the most expensive was £40).

Good on them.

To be fair some of  the Championship lads would moan because while in the Prem we have £30 away cap, you could be paying £45 for an away at Leeds.

With all the money from that CL win and everything else we should be lobbying hard for a reduction next year rather than a token freeze. Not good enough given the revenue increases across the board.
