FB is my team since childhood. It was a success getting here and I thought CSK would make the finals and thrash us but once Real Madrid made it, I thought we had a chance. Vesely had a terrible game, we lost many defensive rebounds and kept missing tip-in's and layups.

By the way, Doncic has not impressed me so much this game at all.

Vesely was atrocious, hard to believe he's a 6th overall pick. Also, you can't allow the opposition to get an offensive rebound on a free throw when you're down 3 with 20ish seconds remaining...

NBA All-Rookie teams:

First team: Ben Simmons, Donovan Mitchell, Jayson Tatum, Kyle Kuzma, Lauri Markkanen.

Second team: Dennis Smith Jr., Lonzo Ball, John Collins, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Josh Jackson.

Happy for my fellow Finn Lauri Markkanen! In some great company there.

Warriors facing a situation for the first time on Thursday...will be interesting to see how they respond. Losing a double digit lead in the 4th quarter of a home playoff game, even for average teams, is a rarity.

I still think we win the next 2 and win 4-2 but scoring 12 in 4th quarter at home in WCF is just pure silly.

Another blow out home win for Celtics, what a letdown of series, no close game whatsoever. Every game is done by 2nd quarter.
Let's be honest, play-off's have been pure garbage this year. Not a fun series I can remember aside from Pacers-Cavs.

Gobert, Davis, Oladipo, Holiday, Covington On 2018 NBA All-Defensive Team

Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz and Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans lead the 2017-18 NBA All-Defensive First Team.

Gobert was voted to the NBA All-Defensive First Team for the second year in a row, as selected by a global panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters.  The 7-1 center from France earned 192 points, including 94 First Team votes.  Davis, a two-time NBA All-Defensive Second Team selection, makes his debut on the First Team.  The 6-11 forward/center received the second-most points (163) and First Team votes (73), behind Gobert.

The two big men are joined on the NBA All-Defensive First Team by Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo (136 points), Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday (105) and Philadelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington (90).  All three players are All-Defensive selections for the first time.

The NBA All-Defensive Second Team consists of 76ers center Joel Embiid (90 points), Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (86), Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (85), San Antonio Spurs guard Dejounte Murray (80) and Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Jimmy Butler (79).  Like the First Team, the Second Team has three first-time All-Defensive selections: Embiid, Horford and Murray.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Totally surprised Covington there, also surprised Embiid and Marcus Smart is not there. Gobert also only played 55 games and he played lot of games with limited minutes after injury, might as well put Roberson there who played only 40 games. I suppose this pretty much confirms Gobert is going to win DPOY.

The quality of the teams and games dropped for sure. Imagine this garbage Cavs team is still 2 games from the finals or Celtics whose 2 best players are out can make the finals.

Looking at the West, it's Warriors and Rockets. The gap between these 2 teams and other 6 play-off teams is not even close.

Dwane Casey Emerges As Pistons' Top Coaching Target

The Detroit Pistons' top target in their head coaching search is Dwane Casey.

The Toronto Raptors parted ways with Casey this offseason despite finishing with the second best record in the NBA.

Ed Stefanski plans to engage Casey immediately in their coaching search. Stefanski was part of the Raptors' front office when Casey was hired by the team in 2011.

The Pistons are searching for a replacement for Stan Van Gundy.

All-NBA teams:

First: LeBron James, James Harden, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Kevin Durant.

Second: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Russell Westbrook, Joel Embiid, LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMar DeRozan.

Third: Stephen Curry, Victor Oladipo, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jimmy Butler, Paul George.

Lillard in 1st team is a joke, Victor Oladipo had a much better season and winning impact than Lillard. Oladipo should've been in 2nd team, Jokic is robbed. I also don't like seeing Butler there, wtf did he exactly do? Aldridge in 2nd is too high as well.

Since he just made the All NBA 1st team, Anthony Davis will now be super max eligible in 2019 for a 5-year deal that would start in 2020 & projects to be worth $230 million, which would be the largest contract in NBA history.

Damn, he can probably buy the Pelicans once he retires.

Draymond with a couple of sloppy plays in the final seconds there. Everyone just handing the series to GSW after game 1 and game 3, feels like a long time ago.

Pathetic last few minutes, 24 seconds violations, silly turnovers like Draymond’s, every single one of us was bad from Steph to Draymond, KD to our coach. We had the game in our hands and we crapped the bed.

Well that entire team as assembled around him to match his play style, so obviously that's not going to work once he leaves. If I were the Cavs GM I'd just go full process at the end of the season, trade everything and everyone.

Look, are we entirely certain we can't stick LeBron on the bench tonight and bring him on for the last ten minutes or something? I'm sure he'd be good to win a couple of monster headers at least. Gotta be a special disposition for a part owner.

Gobert, Davis, Oladipo, Holiday, Covington On 2018 NBA All-Defensive Team

Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz and Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans lead the 2017-18 NBA All-Defensive First Team.

I suppose this pretty much confirms Gobert is going to win DPOY.

Covington led the league in a number of statistical defensive categories on a 52 win team; Embiid also missed quite a number of games and Gobert clearly had a bigger impact on his teams destiny defensively than Embiid. The Jazz had a terrible w/l record and bad stats with Gobert out - the 76ers won all but one game with Embiid out. End of the day, there was only one 5 spot and Gobert deserved it, even if Joel is a significantly better overall player.

I tell you what, if the Rockets somehow win one game to close out the West the East winner will like their chances. I do not see how Paul could possibly return for 10 days at least and even that would be pushing it.

If the Warriors win the West the East team has basically no chance in my eyes.

I think the argument is which was the better player, Jordan or Lebron.
By taking his team to the Finals, yet again, I've nudged Lebron ahead of Jordan.
Jordan couldn't carry a team like Lebron. And that's not slight at Jordan, I watched him tear my dreams for a decade.

But best ever?
Not close to competing with Kareem. Not sure why his stats, success, and dominance, are constantly overlooked.

I think Kareem gets overlooked because of the era and that he wasn't as fashionable. Bearing in mind when the NBA was starting to grow on overseas audience you had Magic, then Jordan, Hakeem and Shaq coming through. But look at LeBron and Jordan with their dunks and 3 points, revenge blocks and buzzer breakers they're sort of a kids idea of a basketball god. Kareem was the 2 point king, that skyhook was a thing of beauty but even by his own addmitence it's not fashionable.

I think that's when people do their top 3 or 5 Kareem usually falls 3rd because they respect his output but he doesn't have the god like stature of a LeBron or Jordan, which is a shame really.

Look st what happened to the bulls when Jordan went to play baseball. He definitely carried that team. Maybe not to the extent that Lebron is, but Cleveland won’t win the nba.

yup, during his career the finals weren’t shown live which does impact your legacy
