I'd genuinely love to see it fully explored beyond the Jonathan Wilson level. There's a bit in Jock Stein's biography about how he'd sit with a pad in the dugout and sketch the patterns of play of the other side (like a passing network I guess) and very occasionally do something to shut the other side down as a result. To me as a Business Analyst that's the equivalent of defining the high level logic.
