Nice words from Grujic's manager. :)
https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2018/sep/24/impressive-hertha-berlin-finally-start-to-catch-the-imagination

Looks like he's been getting 90min on the regular recently playing as one of the 2 midfielders in a 4-2-3-1. Shame about the injury but this has the making of a very good loan deal. First team football as CM in a decent league for a decent side. Glad he didn't join Cardiff for the ugly relegation scrap they'll be involved in. Relegation and long ball football is inevitable.

So annoying about Marko  :(  I hope he recovers well.
Hertha BSC's game is on tv today too, it would have been great to see him play. And I reckon they will miss him a lot, they've had such a good start to the season, and he's been part of that very good start.

How long is he out for?

Not sure it they said anything official. They did say he has a ankle ligament rupture.

I was looking at Hertha's forum to see if there was any update there, but the fans there are just speculating on what they read on google about the injury! They are hoping for the best, they clearly like him a lot and are very annoyed that this happened in the way it did - i.e. a dreadful challenge. And they are a bit concerned as to the effect this now has on their form.

35 yard howitzer free kick.

Just like a Ronaldo free kick, it’s the knuckle ball technique ... moved a lot and late....

He gave it the five times fingers too!!!!

And look at us using the loan system all effectively, like a competently run organisation no less

Wilson has the most genuine chance of breaking into our squad amongst all our loanees. He plays in one of the roles where we aren't as blessed with depth so if he keeps this up, I can see him being an option out wide for us next season. Lampard is a good coach by whatever I have seen of Derby so far this season and Wilson's shown quantifiable growth year on year under different managers now. He was fantastic for Hull and is now coming onto his own at Derby too. I can't see it going unnoticed if he keeps this up. Would be boss if he made it here!

Spectacular free kick that. The pace, dip and swerve were all special. That was one of those knuckleball freekicks that Bale seems to hit so well.

Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Extraordinary technique there.

He'll be 22 next year so this is probably his chance to really leave a mark in the Championship.

Nothing more than me being a bit of a details freak but love the fact Wilson shaped up for that completely differently to how players normally hit them. You usually see a straight on run up and he started at an angle, watching his run up (i didn't watch the game) I didn't expect him to strike it like that so i'm not suprised at all the keeper had no idea where to move for it

Special, special goal that from Wilson.

He's obviously a talent, but if you need evidence of why young players should be out on loan playing football regularly and gaining confidence then there you have it.  Solanke has to go out on loan in Jan, no more faffing about with the occasional cup or league game.
