Just read some sad news that Alan Dixon died earlier in the week. It's now on the HJC facebook page and quite a few on this forum know him. A survivor of the day who never fully recovered, but carried the HJC fight and a great lad by all accounts.

RIP lad, thoughts and prayers with family.

Our Matt , made that or helped . Spoke to him since Ive been home. Iam finding it hard to be with people being honest. As a family we will be there for eacother . I only got home on Saturday so still absorbing.

Three days of madness that . Getting of the coach back in Liverpool we were like... lad .. fuck off... see you when I see ya . Anyone whos been away on a long trip abroad will tell you.Best few days but you do eachothers head in,.

Casual dress on monday so get your best trabs on. No Lonsdales though.

Well that was a goid send of.

Back in the Coffee House in Wavetree it was like a little reunion of lads frim the match from the late 80's. Was nice to have a good chat with Sheila Coleman too. Apparently I was the last to leave and dont remember getting home. I will never surprise myself as when I get like that my coat , keys and shoes are exactly where they should be when I wake up. My dad taught me well.

RIP Alan. In a bit lid .

I had a brother who died from diabetic ketoacidosis mate. Sorry for your sad loss.
