Ada Hegerberg finally back for Norway after a couple of years absence.. The absence came after a row with the coach/FA - Hegerberg claiming they had lack of professionalism, tactics and didn't set up the team properly (training facilities etc). Good to see Hegerberg who is truly brilliant together with Caroline G Hansen and a few other pretty decent players. Sadly the swedish dinosaur coach have managed to stay on with his outdated tactics; playing his best players out of position and looking like Roy Hodgson Jr in general.. Can't see Norway do good here, but hopefully it's Swedish Roy's last tournament

Thank you for absolutely nothing Swedish Roy. The most embarassing tactical display ever by a national team coach in any sports for us.. Please resign and let the players fix austria themselves
It’s not even about individuality, it’s about the team. Our game was based on his controlling of the tempo. Squeeze the life out of the opposition and then strike. That is our game. Like a pack of pythons.

Really was an all-time kicking. 26-4 in terms of shots, 14-0 on target. Just a real beat down. Obviously other teams know how to defend so it will be way harder from the group stages onwards but rare to see an England team cut loose with actual football in a tournament.

Some good goals from England, I caught a bit of the France Italy game too and thought France played some great stuff. There is no doubt the standard of play in the women’s game is getting better and better. Although I don’t think the standard of goalkeeping has , some shocking displays from the keepers.

Surely, they can fine someone better than him.  England were great but, you could tell that Norway are terribly coached!  He litterally had no idea what to do.

The standard of goalkeeping has been improving - the reason why it’s behind in terms of development compared with other positions is because all of the older and more experienced goalkeepers did not have the specialised training when they were younger, and then the young goalkeepers coming through who did have that specialised training are just like most male goalkeepers, in that they tend to peak later than the average outfield player.

That was highlighted by the Arsenal coach Jonas Eidevall, who was doing the BBC analysis. Wright at half time said one of the defenders had to come off, where as he said they just need instruction. The Norway manager just stood there all half not knowing what to do and not giving a reset plan to any of the defence.
We already have shit in the country, and the game of Liverpool fills life with joy. Thanks

The Norwegian left back that had a nightmare is a 20 year winger that has stated she is uncomfortable with the position and struggles with positioning. Plays alongside s captain that has returned from long/term injury and not in match shape. The other center half is a headless chicken that is being picked because she somehow managed to end up in chelsea. My sunday league coach is better than this yes-man

Club rivalry doesn't appear to really exist in the women's game. Alex Greenwood, who is scouse, has played for Everton, Liverpool, Man United and is currently playing for Man City.

The standard of goalkeeping has absolutely improved. You're not going to see the standard of Alisson or Courtois, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was even 5 years ago.

I’ll take your word for it, I’ve only watched bits here and there and the keeping has been woeful in the parts of games I’ve seen. Obviously I don’t expect to see the standard of Alisson or Courtois but it’s like school playground standard at times. Overall tho I have been very impressed with some of the outfield play, there are clearly much better coaches working in the game and the players have progressed.

Yes, the finish was very good. Spain have so much possession but they just haven't clicked up front. The German press is good when Spain are attacking.
