The competition between ourselves and City is so close that this result feels worse than it actually is. A draw away on the opening game of the season against a promoted team isn't usually a bad result. Unfortunately, they were up for a fight and were good. They'll roll over for City.

This is it isn't it, the margin for error is pretty much non-existent. We've just used up most of ours.

A very poor performance although Mitrovic got a 5.9 for the penalty. Harvey did well when he came on and must surely start next week. The injuries in midfield are a concern. Nunez looked lively again.

Hendo at 8 and Firmino at ‘9’ against low blocks don’t make a lot of sense do they. These sorts of games and draws happen but the worry is we finished behind City last year because they happened too often. Hopefully this isn’t a sign of things to come.

Van Dijk must have some strong hairs on his leg to make a strapping twat like Mitrovic go down in absolute agony for their penalty. We were pretty poor though but I prefer Henderson as the DM and Harvey looked really good with Salah when he came on. If anyone is still wondering why we gave Milner a new contract that game was exactly why. He was boss when he came on.

So many players well off the pace. We very rarely matched their work rate and application, hardly picked up a loose ball the whole game or won anything like our shares of the 50/50 tackles.

Lots of lapses of concentration resulting in sloppy passes or miscontrols. Very very poor.

First game of the season against a newly promoted side away is always going to be tricky. Hoping that this kicks us into gear for the rest of the season, we'll learn, Nunez looked quality when he came on. All good. But not a great start.

Off the pace from the start. Makes you wonder what we were doing in preseason (apart from injuring half the squad) as Fulham must have won every second ball in the first half. Too many individual errors to mention and could easily have lost.

Good that we fought back each time but we never applied pressure after scoring and resorted to EFL long ball punts from the centre backs at the end.

Thiago getting injured was the cherry on the sh*t sandwich. Can only get better from here.

Absolutely terrible and quite clearly not sharp enough. Trent had one of his worst games in recent memory. The midfield just could not pass to each other all game. Sloppy everywhere. Nunez was the only one that looked like he could cause Fulham some issues.

Only position I'd use him in. He's actually far better when he's deeper. He wastes too many opportunities when he's in/around the box, with those first-time blind hooks that 99% of the time go straight to the opposition defender.

Gutting and I think we messed up tactically today, love both Hendo and Bobby but them starting wasn't a great shout IMO.

Glad we managed to grow in threat and we looked strong in attack eventually, Nunez did very well and was a huge threat. Diaz was class in his time on the pitch. Need to be a lot better if we wanna win this league, you could see exactly what Fulham were gonna do today and we really need to stop the insistence on playing into sides hand when they set up to close space against us.

Mitrovich immense,propably best game of the season for Fulham.

Inaccurate badly weighted passes from most of our lads,movement in midfield minimal,one of those rare days for Virgil,we lost most of the duels,bad day all round.

The subs as forced as some them were did brilliantly. Darwin should be cemented to start every game at least until Jota's properly fit.

We can do much much better and no doubt will,starting with Palace.
