If you're having a shit day, one of the best 'pick me ups' is the Christmas Carol thread when we were all miserable as fuck watching the turgid shit this bloke was serving up - then we had a golden moment where in true Liverpudian spirit a bit of humour got injected to lighten the mood.

Boss thread, and some of those lyrics are absolute genius.

Doesn't think Kane should be England captain, as it may impact on his goals. Not as much as taking corners though...

Will Roy be going for 2 in a row on Saturday then, should Rafa be worried?     :D

Dafuq was Antonio doing?   ???

When people talk about him being a limited footballer, that is a perfect example of why. 6th minute of time added on. 2-1 up. Just carry it into the corner and waste time. Win a throw or corner maybe. Or just make them waste 30 seconds trying to get it back. No, he beats a man, then floats a cross in. They had one guy arriving very late in the box and it was nowhere near him. So effectively a pass back. Idiot. I was looking forward to Owl having another L next to his name

it looked to me like west ham's players thought it was game over, noble got attracted to the ball and left loftus-cheek (i think?) wide open when they already had players out on their left, no need for him to do that, then once the ball got played to zaha 2 of their defenders closed him down and forced him wide so his back was to goal but then gave him the space to turn and get his shot off

antonio's got a load of shit for it and he was the start of it when he should have run it into the corner but there were mistakes from a few of their players and they had more than one chance to cut out the attack, from hearing people going on about it yesterday i was expecting palace's keeper to have launched a long punt forward and the ball ending up in west ham's goal seconds later when it was actually a slow-ish build up that could've been prevented

Judging by the way they were lumbering about at the end, West Ham just looked too exhausted to defend properly at the end having put themselves out of position instead of leaving Antonio to see the game out.

Well, we pushed out one of our best managers ever, we had twats for owners, and gobshites like Henry Winter in the press (being aided and abetted by some inside the club if rumours are to be believed) pressing for a 'good British manager'.
I don't agree, he'd go to Legoland. Bye.

Quite simple really. Pochettino seems like the typical polite latin male from a well educated family that I come across here in South America. When a senior is praising himself, even though he is full of shit, they are polite, respectful and don't correct them.

He's not going to turn around and say "are you fucking mental? You played Rooney in central midfield during an international tournament. Who the fuck does that? I have had bowel movements that have a better understanding of the game than you for fuck sake"
