They've been on such a bad run, 4 losses in a row, 1 scored, 13 conceded.
They will have to add attacking options this winter if they want to avoid relegation. 9 goals in 15 is so poor.

Back into a bit of form and finally scoring away, up to 11th. The survival push is definitely still on.
If I were a linesman, I would execute defenders who applauded my offsides.

yep, good to see Herr Wagner and his boys get back on track this past week! I think they can make it!

The transfer window in Janaury will see some serious scrabbling about for those teams in the bottom half, just looking at the table and so many teams in the bottom half of the table who just can't score enough goals, Huddersfield being one of them.  Only 1 team in the bottom half average more than a goal a game.

If Huddersfield can find one or two half decent attackers, they'll be ok I reckon. They seem to have more about them than some of the other strugglers, and seem to have an unity there that teams like Newcastle don't have.  And a better coach in Wagner than a few of the other teams.

Can't we lend them Ings?

Good move for both I would have thought?

I thought that too, although I think maybe a wingers / number 10 types may be what they are after more, they have a couple ok-ish strikers, they need players to create more chances for them!

I reckon Brighton may be interested in Ings if they have any sense. With the exeption of Glen Murray they have no one who seems to be able to score, and he doesn't score that much either!

Unless they magically find some scoring they are done. Mounie looked a decent buy in the first few games, but the goals quickly dried up

They’re three points off eleventh, a few wins and things will look better for them, although has said the goals need to be coming from somewhere.

They struggled with goals last season bizarrely. They just kept getting results right. (Finished on -2 GD and got promoted!)

To be replaced by who? Stoke had to get Paul Lambert for fuck's sake, the well of useless fuckers to turn to in an emergency I'd pretty fucking dry.

Keeping Huddersfield up will be a fantastic achievement from all involved if they do it. They had one of the smaller budgets the championship and imagine it's probably the smallest in the premier league as well. Plus they looked really shit both times we played them. Hard to believe that side has a chance of staying up.

besties for ya  ;D

Be so cool if they stay up, and I admit, it's cos of David Wagner I want them to stay up! I wonder though, if he'll be tempted to move on if they stay up. I would expect a couple Bundesliga teams to be interested for starters. And with Huddersfield it may be a case of how much more can he do with them?  Although I do think his family have finally moved to Huddersfield, so maybe he's more than happy to stay longer!

I don't dislike anything about these so I'm glad they might stay up, but fucking hell, if there's 3 worse teams than them I'd be surprised. To me it's a similar situation to Everton being 9th in the table, just a shite league.

Probably need a couple of really good signings next season.

they're squad is so low on quality for sure, which make the job David Wagner is doing even more immense. But they did spend some money on players, just not very well! Ince for instance has been pretty shit. Although the lad they signed from Norwich in January seems to be settling and making a difference now.

I think Wagner has just looked at the fixtues and basically decided which ones are worth fighting in, vs us they where so passive. But now they have had 2 huge wins that puts them in a really good spot to keep themselves up.

They play some of the worst footie in the league, but fair play to them, they have no quality but scrap for their lives. Big, big problems on the horizon if some footballers aren't sourced this summer though.

I am simply very pleased for David Wagner. I don't like the club's fans, but he is one of the good guys of course!

I actually hope he sacks them off and gets a better club in the summer.

Wagner should be in that list instead of Hodgon for sure.

But yeah, Hughton done a great job too, nowhere near as poor a squad as Huddersfield, but still not the depth of talent as the likes of Palace, Southampton, West Ham, yet manages to get them playing well. Something that Wagner has yet to master, but maybe if (when) he goes to a club with better players, he'll show us what he is really made of. He's a far more pragmatic coach than his best mate, but with the right players, he could be onto something!

Fair play to them keeping themselves up with a team consisting almost entirely of 3rd generation football manager regens. Appalling football after they conceded, looked like they'd wet the bed completely but the central defenders and keeper were fantastic.

You'd hope they'd go and get some actual quality in next season though, there's no way they can get by again based off just great coaching and a good team ethic.

Danke, Herr Wagner, for doing the job we couldn't. Gotta be impressed by a club that takes points on the road from the runaway champions (chasing record points total) and another big club that's on a roll and highly motivated. Their closing fixtures were diabolical, so to claw their way to safety is a huge accomplishment.

No point discussing MOTY as Pep has that one in the bag, you can bet your house on it and maybe score a free window.

As you would expect given that he had a better squad to begin with and spent more money than Wagner for players.

He didn't spend that much more, but Brighton just spent it a hell of a lot better. Huddersfield's transfer business the last couple windoes leaves a lot to be desired.
