Not just him though is it, our own teams fans are as bad regards the defence, make it out to be some clown show and happily take the piss out of our own players - just go on any thread of another team or league here, anytime a team concedes a poor goal it's 'lol, that's like our defence that' or 'haha, it's like watching us'.
Sure they've had shit games, but most of the goals conceded in the league did come in about 4 games! And sure the team needs a better central defender, and could likely do with a better goalie, but it's nowhere near as bad as made out. But once you get tarred with a reputation it sticks. Sheer lazyness is what it is in the end.

I got to admit to avoiding watching streams by sky/bbc and preferring US commentary. At least they try to be be a bit more impartial in their views.
