Wow, huge win for Till. Looked the better fighter from the start to be honest, Cerrone wanted none of it.

Perry is fighting in December isn't he?

Till likes to stay active (injury permitting) is there anyone he could face in December? A lot of the division seem to have something lined up.

Does Gunnar Nelson have anything planned?

He looked massive to be honest. Not sure if cowboy is the biggest WW though.

Any way, great win. Hope he fucks Mike Perry up.

Said that watching it. He doesn't control the range as well as McGregor does, but he's in and out, and the way he throws that left uppercut is almost identical. Cerrone didn't want to know. Hope he gets Perry. He'll rip his dick off. *when I say dick, that's really just his head in truth*.

I really think Bisping is going to easily beat GSP. I feel like it's a certainty. I'm open to correction.

Its a difficult one to call given GSP's 4 year layoff. I have literally no idea how this fight will pan out which is why I can't wait for it. Although, best fight on the card is Cody vs. TJ for me. Close but think Cody wins due to his impressive stand-up.
I've heard they've been struggling to sell this one? Seems as though any card without Conor (or Jones to a lesser extent), often struggles to sell.

Not surprising.

Aside from McGregor the UFC has no bina fide stars.

We keep hearing how 'UFC is going to overtake boxing', so I always assumed the UFC was growing massively. Seems as though Conor is most probably distorting its actual popularity and growth.

Personally I’m quite happy it’s no-where near the popularity of boxing. Feel sorry for the fighters because they should be paid more, and higher revenues should translate into a higher purse for fighters. But apart from that I don’t really see how an increased popularity would really benefit the sport outside of lining pockets for those at the top.

I agree, in theory. Bisping is taller, heavier, longer and has always had very good takedown defence. But GSP is an all-time great and if the layoff has done him well, he could be too much for Bisping.

Genuinely think the high water mark in MMA popularity has been and gone...

2009 I think. There's nowhere near the starpower overall now.

Machida probably needs to stop fighting now. It's amazing how older fighters carry on when it's clearly detrimental to their health. I suppose it's the love of the game but there needs to be some sort advisory body set up to tell these guys when to stop.

I think most of them still underestimate the effects of getting repeatedly hit in the head. I suppose CTE is relatively new.

Also: Colby Covington, bit of a dickhead isn't he? No takedown, no win for Maia.

Conor says he won’t fight in the UFC again unless he’s co-promoting the fight.
