Inter could be good this season. Their squad is really strong, though I thought the same last season and they were largely crap.
Difference is they have a very good manager in Spaletti this season, instead of an untested De Boer and then Pioli.

A good win for Inter, though Roma deserved a pen before Inter scored their first.

Inter could be title contenders this season with the fact that they only play one game a week, Icardi set for a monster season and Skriniar looks like a beast.

Spaletti was a great hire for them, thought he was underappreciated while he was in charge of Roma last season.

Love watching Napoli play. They are now a team that I look when they play in order to tune in and watch them. Far better team and football than under Rafa but it's maddening how they haven't bought a central defender yet or boost their midfield a bit.

Last season they were great, like Roma, and it wasn't even enough cause they have that beast in their league that's called Juventus. You have to strengthen.

Finally...No. More. Albiol. Past his expiration date for like 3 years now.  :P

Cutrone has scored again for Milan. I'd never heard of him before the season started but he's in excellent form.

A moment of magic from Suso rescued AC Milan on Sunday night, as they fought their way to a 2-1 win over Cagliari at the San Siro. Patrick Cutrone had given the Rossoneri the lead early on, but the visitors deservedly bagged an equaliser and will feel desperately disappointed not to return home with something to show for their efforts as Suso's superb free kick sealed the victory.

FW Suso, 8 -- A little predictable at times and his delivery wasn't always on the mark, but decisive yet again. Registered an assist with a stunning delivery for Cutrone before scoring the winning goal of the game with a sublime free kick at a crucial point for Milan when they were really struggling.

FW Patrick Cutrone, 7 -- The youngster just continues to deliver. Showed his football brain and eye for goal with some clever movement and a nice finish. Worked tirelessly off the ball as he pressed from the front to set the tempo for the rest of the team.

FW Fabio Borini, 6 -- Deservedly received a standing ovation when substituted, as supporters will appreciate his industry and work. He never stopped running, and if he can just couple that with a bit more quality in the final third, he'll be a pivotal part of this squad this season.
There was a two-minute interlude where Liverpool’s three-man attack squared up against United’s three-man defence and basically stalked them back into their own penalty area, like battle-hardened mountain wolves closing in on a flock of geriatric sheep.  Barney Ronay at Anfield @barneyronay Sun 19 Jan 2020 20.36 GMT

^Good luck to Milan fans expecting more in the final third from Borini. Hard worker, will run for days, always has been like that. Clueless and impotent anywhere near goal though.

For those of us of a certain age that intro still brings goosebumps.

What a league Serie A was back then, best I've even known in my lifetime. And what a show, James Richardson is, for my money, the best football host out there. I wonder if it would seem dated now if watched back, what with the saturation of football that's come since those days.

Aye, to be honest I can't think of a better host or set-up in those 25 years since (apart from The European Goals Show on BT, and The European Football Show that was recently axed by BT - both with Richardson at the helm... :)

5 minutes to get the decision right for if it was a penalty or not...and then only 2 minutes stoppage time at the end of the half. Taking a while to get the VAR sorted at the Inter match.

1-0 Icardi though.

Milan will have a tough challenge to make top four.

Top three will be Inter, Napoli and Juve with Milan fighting it out with Lazio and Roma for 4th spot.

I think AC Milan had a pretty bad transfer window, they went on a spending spree without really addressing the issues they had. Bonucci was held like a genius buy, but he's done imo.

Inter had a far more targeted approach, bought some players who will help tremendously (Skriniar, Valero etc) and will have a better campaign than AC.

This is the season he puts himself among the very best in world football.

The hattrick he scored today was truely speical, all three of his goals were pure class.
