Lille have kept 11 clean sheets in a row now after their win tonight, that's very impressive

How has Kjaer been?
A Liverbird upon my chest, we are the men of Shankly's best. A team that plays the Liverpool way, and wins the championship in May.

to be honest, enyama has been so amazing that the whole defense seems to shine.
But Kjaer seems to be settling pretty well

PSG on track for another 3 pts, 0-1 up away to Rennes, Thiago with the goal.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Ibra with his 14th goal of the season via a penalty. 2-0 to PSG.

Some c*nt was flashing a laser pointer in his face as he took it so he made sure to point towards the offender after slotting it away.

Bit of a twist there with Rennes holding St Ettiene - brings Lyon and Marseille right into play for that European spot.

The Cup final is underway, very unusual this time it's Rennais vs Guingamp, a local rivalry, both teams down the table and this is their only chance to qualify for Europe.

Guingamp have won the Cup rather easily, 2-0 win.

PSG are likely to secure the title for second season in a row tomorrow as they have to overcome Rennes at home or hope Monaco slip against visitors Guingamp.

Ranieri has been a bit unlucky imo, he took them over when they were in the 2nd Div and got them promoted in his first season there and finished second in Ligue 1 the next season with a club record points haul securing a Champions League slot in the process and has been without his main striker Falcao since the middle of January. Monacos points haul this season would have been enough to win the Ligue 1 title in 4 of the last 6 seasons.

Seems like Leonardo Jardim formerly of Sporting Lisbon is ready to be appointed in place of Ranieri.

I think Monaco will be the big hollywood club in the summer splashing the cash on WC stars. Of all the teams that you'd expect to progress through the group stage of the Champions League, these guys are the most ill-equipped.

Feel sorry for Ranieri too, he's a silver medal manager.

Really? Points record didn't even save him. Interesting to see who they get in. I wonder if Wenger will be linked?

I'm organising a 3 day trip to France, Switzerland and Italy in March and planning on seeing a game in each country over three days. I thought Ligue 1 was played on a Friday night but fixtures at the moment say Saturday. Are they likely to move to Friday?

They sometimes have games on Fridays nights. Normally to help their Champions League sides if they are playing during the week after.

Just seen that Brandao got 6 months ban for that headbutt against Thiago, probably got 1 month for the butt and 5 months for scarpering afterwards.

Really impressed with Marseille this season. Great attacking football. Probably helps no European football in 10 years.
