Just had to turn around on my way to work, ended up sideways in front of a van on the other side of the road!
Snow is not fun.
Sideways driving was a novelty to start with, but this is beyond the joke, just abandoned my car and walked the rest of the way home!

Have to laugh at the news - Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson saying how they've done such a wonderful job in London and then clips of the transport system coming to a halt yesterday and today apparently not a single entrance to a tube station laid down with salt and people slipping all over the place.

Everyone by ours was in a boss mood last night, took the kids out for about 3 hours.

It was the first time theyve ever seen snow so they were delighted. Got pelted at least 50 times by gangs of kids but come on.. wjhat can ya say?? I'd have been dopin the same thing years ago.

Walked up by the Quix shop, and theres 3 late teens / early 20s girls with a coupld of babies messin around.

One of the little uns threw a snowball at me (in the leg or something) and the rather sexy mum said "Dont be throwin snow balls at the man"

Being in az happy mood i replied "Its OK love". I stood with me arms spread and said "Go on then, yas can have one free shot at me each"

I hadnt fuckin noticed the 11 year old with them, who had obviously spent the last 10 minutes moulding his snowball into a ball of solid ice that had more in common with a snooker ball then a snowball.

Little bastard nearly broke me nose with it from about 4 foot away.

Obviously i had to just laugh it off and pretend it never hurt, seeing as how i had invited the free shot in the first place.

Apart from that, the best night of fun i've had in ages.

To be honest, it was good to walk around Speke without feeling intimidated by the little bastards.

It seemed like everybody was in a happy, Christmas movie type of mood.

One fella really amused me. He walked past about 20 kids on the corner, and said those fateful words
"Any of yous throw a snowball at me and i'll punch all of ya fuckin heads in"

He received a snow tsunami within minutes, as fully expected. I thought it was boss, especially seeing as how it was blatant what was going to happen as soon as he issued his threat.

Finally started snowing here in the afternoon.
So I decided to leave the office early, just in case there would be enough to do a snow ball fight before dinner.
Well.. only one step out of the office and snow became rain, I was freezing because my bus decided not to show up and traffic was horrible.
I don't like rainy snow anymore...

Snowing really heavily here last night. I was looking forward to getting some great pictures this morning except it had all but gone when I got up at 8! Probably a good thing for me though as I've loads of revision to do and don't have time to make snowmen unfortunately. It was still a pretty dangerous trip to the shops for milk this afternoon though!

We had about 8 inches in Guildford, it was up to my knees. But I got 2 days off work!! Car is still snowed in 3 days later.
