Yeah...its not so oversized now though :-0   although how that feller managed to get my top on i'll never know. Weird couple :-)

I'll post a few pics tonight that I have of the trip. White coke maps, wooden horses, missed flights, ad hoc overnight B&Bs in strange towns...

Monaco was where I really remember it taking off. On the way there, everyone's whistling and humming it to themselves. I don't remember hearing it in Levski. But that might have been the vodka. Good times.

You remember the CSKA reds trying to get past the riot police and dogs to adjoin our section and trade scarves?  They were screaming abuse at the Blues, who were screaming back at them and we were caught in the middle.

I remember the Levski streamers  coming down from the top of the stadium to stripe 3/4 of the ground in the Bulgarian colours.  The Sofians were so proud to perform for LFC.  Very respectful, I found.

Yep! And then they set fire to some blue scarves and stuff if I remember correctly? Had their own little bonfire. Which was clever as it was fucking freezing.

Before going we'd been warned that it could be a bit dodgy out there. "Only take this route to the ground or you'll run into trouble" etc. When we got there, we found everyone was very friendly (both Levski and CSKA) and just wanted to have a good time. Drank well into the night with a group of Levski lads in Svejk's Pub (RIP Svejk's Pub - it no longer exists and I know this because I went looking for it many years later). Great trip.
