Exit Fulham Broadway tube station and turn right. About a 2 minute walk in that direction. Maybe not even 2 minutes cos I was aled up last year.

The lower has a rubbish view - back 4 rows are like the back of the Lower Anny so you have to move forward in order to see the pitch and even then seeing the far end is like seeing the Anny Road end from the front row of the Kop

Having said that atmosphere wise the lower has always been great

Was in upper for league game and lower for cup game last year and i have to say the upper is by far the best, not too keen on the view from the lower, but thats just personal preference!

Coming to the UK for the first time this weekend and looking for somewhere to watch the Chelsea game in London where there will be plenty of Reds. Any recommendations?

Looks like last year it was Courtfields, Earl's Court, and Havana's getting thrown out as options.

I asked the same question in the other Chelsea away thread and was told Courtfields as well. Was great last year for the League Cup so that's where I'll be this time round!

Yes mate, apparently anything from Row 13 back is similar to being at the back of the Lower Annie.

Wouldn't worry too much.  There will be plenty of people who aren't in their allocated seat for this one.

We were back row 16 for the carling cup....ok if ya sat down....no chance of that !!

Just join the rows further forward...we did no trouble.!!

Just as a note for future reference here;

You can drop a large bag off at the Millennium Hotel Reception (outside normal away end) free of charge.

Just tell them the stewards wont let you in with it, they give you a ticket etc.

I had an overnight bag with me and it was fine the other week.

Anyone know why Courtfields called time early today?

When Courtfields closed we tried to go to another pub a bit further along and were told that the police had told them all they had to stop serving. Was stupid as just meant everyone moved outside and bought from the co-op

Yep, cans on the street was clearly a better option as far as the bizzies were concerned  ::)

Also where do people tend to park up for this? I'm thinking of parking up and getting the tube across?

I usually park at Watford Junction and get the train to West Brompton an the ground is a 10-15 minute walk from there.

Where are you travelling from? The obvious option is to train it to London and then tube it from there.

Fulham Broadway is the nearest tube on the District Line, one stop on from West Brompton & there doesn't appear to be any engineering work on that particular part of the line.
