Dyche and Howe have both done outstanding jobs at two clubs used to knocking around the lower leagues.

Doesn’t mean that they have any business managing a top club (howe maybe, Dyche no chance)

Moyes showed that well. That’s who Dyche is like.

Wasn't sure where to put this, so my apologies if it's in the wrong spot.

Due to events in the family, my wife and I have moved into her childhood home. Was going through the closets and found her stash of FourFourTwo magazines, from 2002-2008, issues 90-166. I may post some covers if there's interest, but 2 in particular caught my eye. One was about Istanbul and the other was about the Ferguson horse debacle. Anyway, thought it was interesting.

Oh, these sour times.

No one admires resilience when you were just plain wrong all along - that's just twattishness.

Have both these issues still. I used to buy 442 religiously up to maybe 2010.

Before that I bought world soccer

I still get it maybe 2 or 3 times a year. Mainly for a holiday as you say. The price is now something like 6.99 which is a bit steep but I find it pretty decent.

I've got a load of old Total Sport magazines somewhere including the 1st one with Fowler on the front.  Thinking of chucking them on eBay.

I remember that first edition! I had it too. Think some Brazilian fighter (predating UFC) featured high on the list and caused a lot of bewilderment amongst my mates. Someone Gracie. Might have had a brother too.
