That is probably fantastically early to be doing a draft, especially when a couple of teams need managers right?

Mid-Late Aug is about right if you ask me, after week 3 preseason is perfect I think anyway!

There's 3 teams (Springfield Atoms, Garston Gridirons, Ste's Stars) where the owners haven't logged in for 7-8 months, the rest of the league have all been active within the past month or so.

I'd suggest setting a draft date and mailing the league then the current owners can decide if they want to stay or quit and we can plan on filling any empty slots if need be.

Springfield Atoms is me, and I did log on about a month ago, so I dunno what it's on about.

Don't want to bother posting in the American Sports thread as it'll get overlooked, and I imagine mosts in the bets thread won't give me an answer, but are there any teams that stand out in the current AFC/NFC groups?

I fancy a small speculative punt on a Jets/Packers final personally.

Sorry to those who were ready for tonight but there would be 4 teams unable to make it. Sorry it was very late notice.

We also have a new owner starting who will pick keepers and we will be ready to go. One or two suggestions also to push it back a few weeks - can you put on the message board your preferences please.

Happy with that. I wanted to come out of the Draft with one thing above all - starters.

The team I took over was disgusting, and I think I've improved it a lot in the last couple of years.

Need to sort this out as have 2 teams inactive - Tenby Pioneers, Crab cakes & football owned by MikeBee and Dagz respectively.

If they haven't been active on either Fleaflicker or this thread by the weekend then we will find 2 new owners.

Unfortunately this means the draft is going to have to be put back maybe a week unless there are any other ideas?

I've joined, but just a note that I couldn't go in via that link despite trying several times, I eventually got in via this: http://fantasy.nfl.com/registration/privateleaguejoin then putting in the league number (1049432 and the password)

Good news everyone!

Already got 10 in the nfl.com and the fleaflicker may be joint-commished by me.

So if its sound with everyone I'll leave nfl.com as season-only, fleaflicker continues as keeper.

will move draft date to the Tue 28th if that is better than the sunday for most people?
