Did Guardiola sign a Wookie when I wasn't looking? ;)
*name drops*When I was in Barcelona last May watching them twat the mancs in the final, the locals seemed to pronounced Barca as Backa! so I stick with that, a reminder of that glorious night :) I'd put it on a par with one of our charity shield or screen sport super cup victories. Only just though. ;)

For all the talk of weakened teams, those are pretty strong still, although the Arsenal bench is weak.

Think Barca need one of their taller strikers playing (Henry).

We will see though.

I'm worried. I keep getting this mental image of Bendtner peeling away from the Backa goal, arms aloft, celebrating.  :-\

That thought crossed my mind earlier, but they do like to play the ball on the floor more than anyone else so it shouldn't be too much of an issue for them.

Silvestre is a weak link.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Just a different option.

Went to the Valencia match the other week and they had the same three up top. The game was even until Henry gave them another option and ocupied the defenders for Messi to work his magic.

We will see though.

Three quick forwards will run circles around Silvestre I think, unless Vermaelen and him start kicking them vee forwards.

Ha.
Not to be pedantic but if Silvestre is the right sided CB it's more likely it'll be Vermaelen who'll be facing him head on more often
as he cuts inside from the right.

Hardly... Barcelona play against worse defenders in the Spanish league every week near enough yet don't trounce them. It'll be close.

Hilarious comments.

He's probably never watched a la liga game in his life. Bojan not good enough?!? He's 19 and already 10 times the player Bendtner or Walcott will ever be.

Inter will be no pushovers in the semis that's for sure. Going about their business very professionally

Really looking forward to this now.  Hope Barca school them.  Come on you Catalan twats !
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.
