THIS IS A 32 TEAM TOURNAMENT

1.  The first 16 teams are made up of consortiums or groups of teams above and are assigned by random order (there are three exceptions Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Liverpool to the consortiums. They stand alone).

2.  The second 16 teams will be selected by the manager after they have been assigned a team above.  This team will in all likelihood qualify for Europa after ECL group play.  These teams will be single clubs and NOT consortiums.

3.  The order of picking your second team will be as follows (no Consortium team is eligible for this selection, even if the manager does not use players from their teams).  It is REVERSE order of the rankings

       2nd Pick - NE Germany Consortium #2
       3rd Pick - English Consortium
       4th Pick - Spanish Consortium
       5th Pick - French Consortium
       6th Pick - Argentine Consortium (Uruguay)
       7th Pick - Manchester Consortium (Everton)
       8th Pick - Dutch Consortium
       9th Pick - S Italy #3 Consortium
     10th Pick - Brazil Consortium (Colombia)
     11th Pick - Barcelona
     12th Pick - Liverpool
     13th Pick - NE Italy #2 Consortium

I'm assuming that once teams have been put together and released, That anyone not picked who is also eligable for another team or can be stole, does not suddenly become available for another team. That teams are final?

Steals are consummated prior to roster formation.  Steal wisely.  They will proceed in reverse order of the rankings just like 2nd team selection.   I will publish a schedule of when things will happen.

There will be a 1 time window to make any changes to your team, like in the previous draft.  This window is also a space to influence your opponents into making changes they had not planned upon. This will happen between the 2nd/3rd games of the ECL Group play.

Any changes to one's team will cost 5 votes per change with a maximum of 2.   Changes are not steals.

The assignments will take place Sunday late evening (after midnight) and I'll send out notifications hopefully by the time you chaps wake up.

But I have a shitload of stuff to finish.  The rules are killing me --- keep it simple stupid has been my self talk all week.

Hey lads - Important Notice!!!!

When the actual games start next Saturday February 6th ---- Ill produce the ECL Draw, Fixtures, and Roster Change Request Information and post them here.
 

Each day, this thread will be updated and re-used.   Each day around 1:55pm to 2pm, I will be going into thread to do four things:


A. Lock the voting (so if you did not get your votes in by then -- its too late for that game day).

B.  Take a snapshot of votes, snip it and clip/paste into the new thread - as we do not want any voting memory loss

C. Post new fixtures, reset the poll, and graphics on the thread and within the poll  (tomorrow is Group C & D)

D. Post tables, manager point updates (this may be after 2:15pm as things takes some time (since we are keeping track of votes and points)


*** as a result, I will largely be unavailable between 1:50-2:15 at a minimum.  If you have questions, concerns or have had an error made (try to let me know before or after this time period)
