Cairney the value in that side. Sessegnon a bit pricy for me at 6.5 rather go with Cairney.

As always need 4.0 defensive starters, any suggestions?  a 4.5 whose not Soares? Is mendy worth 6.0?  Fernandinho or, Kante and .5 = a better defender?

All the decisions are at the margins when you sign up mo sadio and bob  ;D  33 mill ouch

Neves really isn't a good pick in my opinion. He is a defensive midfielder and a yellow card magnet. Yes he scores worldies every now and again but they are likely to be less common in the Premier League. I think I read a stat that he scored more goals from outside the area last season than he had touches in the box. Considering he only scored five from outside the box it shows how little he gets forward. Just one assist all season long too.

If you want Wolves players, look at Jota, who plays as a striker but is listed as a midfielder, and Douglas, who gets a shit loads of assists from defence.

Will just be randomly changing half my team every couple of days for the next 2 weeks.
Sticking in Salah at 13m restricts the budget everywhere else, but I can't see how I can leave him out.

Looking at Chelsea's defense... is Luiz likely to be a starter after being dropped by Conte? Does Sarri play 3 at the back?

Who's a good option for 5m in midfield then?

Well there aren’t any really, that’s why they’re 5m! But in my opinion you need to look at attacking midfielders who are only cheap because they play for lower ranked teams, rather than defensive midfielders at good teams who are cheap because they don’t really provide goals or assists.

My 5m midfielder is Kenedy. Cairney is probably a good shout providing he’s not upgraded. Likewise Wilshere if he can stay fit and plays further forward for West Ham.

I have Mo, Sane, Mahrez (depending on his injury), Naby already so just need a half decent 5 m option in there too.

Yeah.
I'm going with a good keeper, cheapo defenders, really strong midfield and 7 - 9.5M worth of strikers.
Once all 15 players play regularly, should be good.

Yeah, that's who I currently have but am just seeing if there are any other better options at that price.

It's also worth filtering a search of players who are selected by the most teams % wise, because if they start to rise in price early doors you can make a bit of money early and start to upgrade your team...

What sort of strategy are you all aiming at?

Still keep chopping and changing my team, reading about so many different ways of setting up a team, i think i'm probably going to go for 2 good forwards, 3 good midfielders 1 good defender and 1 good GK, with the rest being the best of budget options

My current draft includes Salah,Bobby,Sane,Erkisen and Aubemamyang,Allison and Davies as my good "expensive" players  i'm hoping that core of good players will be enough surrounded by decent budget options

I've never really bothered with that search function before, good call!

Salah's price doesn't seem to have put people off, over 50% selected him so far.

Yeah I have Bobby, Mo, Naby, Sane, Marhez & Neves.

Zaha and Arnautović up front too.

Ederson in goal because I can only have 3 Liverpool players  :'(

I always find a strong Midfield beats a strong Attack the way the points are dished out.

I've never really bothered with that search function before, good call!

you are nuts selecting two good keepers like that

Especially when they are both playing at home/away on the same match days for a fair few fixtures. If you do want to rotate keepers, it is better to choose one that is playing at home when the other is playing away in order to limit the chances of both having difficult fixtures.

You also have a few players who aren't guaranteed to be playing come the start of the season due to World Cup involvement... Vardy, Maguire, Fernandinho and Otamendi haven't played any friendlies yet.

If you swapped Bertrand for Cedric and Adrian for a 4.0 goalkeeper, you could get Wood with the extra million.

I've just brought in Mitrovic, who is also 6.5.
