Is this just on English footie? Some of the lads here have good NBA tips, although I've never put huge amounts on as I know nothing about it myself. :P

We'll cross these bridges when we come to it.  ;)

I don't see anything tonight at all. We should also try and bet on things we have slight knowledge about - Le Havre at home to Guingamp, as tempting as that 11/10 is on statistics, is a bit of a swerve for me because I have never watched a Ligue 2 match in my life.

Atletico Bilbao 19/20 at home to Racing Santander. Again though I don't know a lot about Spanish football.

Santander are really good away - they've only lost 4 all season.

Is right..No point just jumping at every evens shout we see..Auxerre DNB @11/10 is a decent shout i think. There up against a good monaco side who have taken 17 points from there last 24 available at home and were unlucky to lost against marseille in that run. However that dosnt excuse the fact that they have only won once in there last 7 league games(1 win coming against bottom side bolougne) and its no wonder theyve slipped to 9th in the table. If Auxerre win they go top by 2 points although Bordeaux will have a game in hand. There on a great run of form with only 1 defeat in 14 games with 7 wins,1 draw and 1 defeat in there last 9 games. They can win away from home as they shown by beating bordeaux and were unlucky to draw against 2nd placed montpellier last time away from home.

Hmmm, I'm really not so sure. Lyon are more experienced in the two-legged domain and it's the way of football that Lyon will gain revenge for the 0-1 defeat earlier in the season.

I'll be up for this, but once i get to a decent amount, i'll probably bottle it and withdraw most of it.

Why not make it 9 bets?

First bet of £10 wins you £20, of which £10 is used for the next bet and £10 is left spare, so if one loses later on, you can start again without depositing more.

Another method could be the same as above, but use the other £10 at the same time, so you have 2 goes at once?

This probably sounds easier than it is, but if you back a 1/2 and a 1/3 in a double you're getting even money.  Obviously with two selections you're increasing the risk, but across a whole weekend's footy you should be able to find two games you're confident of that meet the criteria.

Am up for this, nice idea L6.
Newcastle aways might represent some value depending on the opponent.

Sounds good.

Looking ahead at the weekend Donny Rovers to beat Plymouth and Arsenal to beat Wolves pays as high as 2.16 at skybet.

Initailly Donny's home form does look suspect, only 2 wins in the last 8, but that's not a fair reflection. Previous to these 8 games, 5 out of 6 were won at home. The 8 previous home games

Boro - 4-1 defeat. John Oster decided to cause trouble in town in the week, so the focus was on other issues.
Reading - lost 2-1. Outplayed Reading, some excellent keeping and even we lose at home to Reading.
Beat Forest.
Leicester - lost 1-0. Freezing night, Gareth Roberts slipped and that mistake led to the only goal.
Palace 1-1. Outplayed Palace, missed chances and wrongly ruled out goals, two of them, led to Palace somehow getting a draw.
Beat Derby.
Sheff United 1-1. Missing Billy Sharp and James Hayter missed a hatful which Sharp would have converted. 88th minute equaliser for Sheffield.
Newcastle - lost 1-0. Even game. Sharp had a goal disallowed wrongly and Carroll's goal involed a hand ball which was not seen.

Confidence is high after beating rivals Barnsley away at the weekend and Donny have now only lost one in in their last 8, against Newcastle. The play-offs still remain a slight possibility, and Donny know that a win here is a must.

I don't know half as much about Plymouth, but results show 15 loses in their last 21 away games. They play midweek, and then have a lon trip up to Yorkshire for Doncaster. Where as, Doncaster get the midweek off.

Arsenal at home to Wolves is pretty self-explanatory.

Newcastle v Nottingham Forest tomorrow.

Newcastle are at 1.72. At home. Against a side that has lost their last 6/7 away. Should be a foregone conclusion.
I'm a little wary because they are still a good side, but as long as we beat them, a Newcastle win and Forest defeat at the weekend would promote us. Enough motivation for us there I reckon.

Carroll is on fire at the moment, and I reckon he'll score again. But I have a feeling about Nolan, hasn't scored in a while but has been coming closer and closer, goal disallowed (correctly) for offside against Doncaster too.

i think the point of this is that everyone who decides to join in, bets on the same team. therefore there are loads of people scouring the leagues to find the best possible bet in and around evens.

Ideal way to start imo. City will want to bounce back from the mongrels loss against a woeful Wigan side. Newcastle unbeaten at home all season against Forest who have lost their last 6 away. Pays over evens. I'm on it anyway.

My two pennies...

There should be absoluteley no rush to find the bets. Ideally the bet should find you if you get my drift. Some good examples of excellent even money shots. Udinese at home to Spurs in the Uefa Cup last season, Croatia to beat Austria at Euro 2008, Genoa at home to Atalanta, and both Palermo and Mallorca a few times at home this season.

Under no circumstances would I bet on anything outside the top leagues simply because their not reliable enough and I don't believe anyone follows anyone of them closely enough.
