The Moore's have some nice hurdlers on their hands.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.

That was mightily impressive.

Hoping Allmankind can do the business today. Giving away heaps of weight to the Irish raider though who is no mug and there's been a good bit of money for.
It was, I don’t like getting overly impressed by early season form but the Champion Chase div looks quite open this year. Although he does seem to want good ground.
Watched Allmankind, think he’s going to struggle this season with his run style, 5 year olds unless they’re a bit special always seem to struggle once in open competition

Frodon must be one of the best top weight carrying horses of all time at this stage?

Yeah I agree, seems like they tried to hold on to him as much as they could today but he still wasn't able to finish off the race. Don't know where they go from here now.

Great from Frodon with that weight. Such a gutsy horse

Hahah cheers. Well if you saw cogry today then my form continues. Been awful since the festival.

Couple of interesting races at Wexford tomorrow. Minella Indo takes on 3 in his first start in open company. Then Andy Dufresne goes in a Beginners Chase in the following race. Both silly prices but will be good to watch

Heard an interview with Elliot yesterday and he seems to be sending some of his big guns to Down Royal this coming Saturday, both Envoi Allen & Presenting Percy mentioned among others.

Latest Exhibition out over fences on Wednesday. Up against a few talented horses so would be very good to see him win that. Top contender for the RSA for now.

No surprises for either Minella Indo or Andy Dufresne. Like Andy Dufresne and think he’ll go well over 2 or 2.5 miles but Shishkin and a Envoi Allen are fairly formidable opponents. Think Minella Indo will find it tough at the highest level this season.

Was all over Latest Exhibition for the Albert Bartlett so that was a sickener, but think he’ll be just as good if not better over fences.

Thought Minella Indo really looked like he needed the run. Doing that in that condition to a race fit Milan Native is extremely impressive

Same with Latest Exhibition for myself Duvva, no wonder he lost by a short head  :P Think he's a real staying chaser in the making though. Serious engine on him and he could really jump a hurdle.

To be fair he’s done nothing wrong today and on second watch he has come away nicely just before the second last fence. I did think he looked tired at the end but it was tough going and first time out so can be forgiven that.
I can’t shake the fact Champ flew home and won the RSA going away, if he sorts out his jumping, I can only see the extra 2 and a bit furlongs being in his favour

On the Albert Bartlett you've got to love Monkfish. Big fan of Latest Exhibition like you lads but Monkfish was a year younger, had one less hurdle run and was coming out of Novice company into a Grade 1 at the Festival. Whereas Latest Exhibition had run in three graded races to that point including a Grade 1. Can't wait to see them all over fences but I genuinely believe Mullins has himself another Gold Cup horse there in Monkfish.

Nope no definitely don’t love Monkfish!

Seriously though it looked as good a renewal as there’s been. The first 4 all likely to make an impact this year. I like Thyme Hill for the Stayers.

Albert Bartlett is usually a gruelling race with horses needing some time to get over it and show their best and it actually finishes some horses. I also saw people saying Minella Indo looked like a bullock before the race yesterday. So, to those points you’d have to like Minella Indo yesterday.

Toppfthegame is one I can’t wait to watch this season. That RSA form is scolding hot. Hoping the injury hasn’t taken a lot off him. 12/1 for the Gold Cup could look big if he comes back as good.

Was gutted he was out for a year! They very rarely come back as good, I saw him parading the day he was beaten by Lostintranslation at Aintree and he was an absolute tank, looked a proper Hennessy/Gold Cup horse

Decent test for Latest Exhibition tomorrow, Longhouse Poet wasn’t far behind when LE won his Grade 1 over hurdles last season.

Another horse has come up on my tracker in the bumper - Joseph Conrad. I have no idea why, can’t recall putting it in there and it’s got no form outside PU in a PTP. Anyone know anything about it? Doesn’t seem especially fancied in the market.

I know he’s not won far today but he always travelled well and battled over the last two and won going away in the end. He’ll have learnt more jumping under pressure those last couple of fences than winning by miles.

Didn't get to to see it but sounds encouraging. Don't think he's the type of horse who will ever blow you away but he's a real battler. How was his jumping? Was he attacking them or cautious?

Thats exactly what Ruby said straight after the race actually - that he's not the type to go and win by a street. I thouhgt he jumped really well and when the pressure was on over the last two he didn't make an error and came away after the last - I thought it was a really promising performance

Superb card at Down Royal this Friday if they all turn up.
Envoi Allen debut over fences, Abracadabras may face Aspire Tower & Jason the Militant in a 2m hurdle, a couple of smart Elliott bumper horses from last season also due to run in Queens Brook and Farouk D’Alene in othe hurdle races on the card. Finishes with another potentially good bumper horse in Chemical Energy.

Thought Latest Exhibition was ok today, nothing overly impressive though did think his jumping improved as the tempo lifted. Sign of the times that he was cut for the RSA after that though!

Elliott has the fav in 6 out of the 7 races on the Down Royal card and doesn’t have a runner in the other race.
Anyone fancy him to do all 6?

Abracadabras has a couple of decent rivals but if he’s a live Champion Hurdle contender he should be winning. Queens Brook didn’t impress me last time and Brave Way has decent form so that is the most vulnerable of the short priced ones for me. There’s a couple of decent ones in the bumper too so not a penalty kick for Chemical Energy.

Tempted to take on Queens Brook with Brave Way 10/3 seems a fair price.

Anyone else tempted to lay Envoi? I'm ridiculously excited to see him jump a fence but it always baffles me how a novice can be 1/14. Could easily make an error along the way.
