Thought we tired more than they did, lost a lot of second balls to 50-50 challenges as the game went on. Thought Trent's use of the ball was poor throughout, their player did a pretty good job of hustling him but he should have done better, as that was where the goal was going to come from I think.

Teams not match fit, Liverpool are rather famously poor after a long break, and the team always seem to struggle when one of the fullbacks is out.

I'm okay with it, but boy was it boring.

Bit of an anti-climax after such a long wait. Second half was disappointing, especially seemed to lose any kind of cutting edge after Keita and Bobby came off, none of the subs really improved things today.
Hopefully be a bit sharper Wednesday

Expected it to be poor but that was a bit shite. Shame Keita came off as he looked like he wanted to try something. Sometimes a player having a shot from outside the box when its all a bit tight in the box can help in these situations.

Anyway a win on wednesday would be good though expect palace to play the same.

Left side was terrible going forward without Robbo and we can't expect to Joe to have the same effect. I thought Minamino and Keita played well first half and not sure why both came off. Desperately need another left back for cover. All in all a bit of a snooze fest. Oh and Everton are shite.
