After the final whistle the German commentator said "Porto's loss is okay, but they did not deserve that big a goal difference". Gotta wonder what game he was watching (does DAZN have channels on the side which their commentators spent time looking at?) or maybe he just felt pity for Porto. Their keeper had an absolute nightmare and all of them are probably beyond sick of us and we easily could have had more. Curtis Jones, wow. And as always my adoration goes to Robbo being Robbo, but overall great effort by everyone. Love these sort of mid week CL results.

Think Curtis Jones has just put himself in the frame for a start against Abu Dhabi at the weekend.

Plenty shit the bed about the lack of signings but the Klopp mantra of finding solutions from within might just have been a sound approach here. Harvey showed he belonged in that midfield and now Jones looks like he’s gone from boy to man in the past couple of weeks

Brilliant performance and showed a class above, gutted about the Atletico game, if they hadn't won tonight they would have had to play on the front foot against us which isn't their natural game, now the pressure is off them i expect them to park a bus and do their shit house tactics.

Ref was brilliant tonight, never fell for any of the BS, that Diaz was the worst for the theatrics and was one of the worst players on the pitch, looks like the Copa in summer was an anomaly.

The offside rule still confuses me. The ball bounced off their defender and fell right to Bobby, what was with all the replays to decide whether he was offside from the original shot then? Or were they trying to assess whether the defenders intervention was intentional and thus not a new phase of play? Or something?

I dunno. Bobby wasn’t offside anyway so I suppose it doesn’t matter!

Brilliant result and performance. About time we racked up the goals, which sounds unbelievable when you consider we've scored 3 virtually every game this season.
