Love the attention to detail from Klopp and his team. Bringing in Neuro11 and Ben Fogle to get those additional 1 or 2%.

Wow, Ben Fogle really is a man of many talents. Thought he would have just given Jurgen some Harry and Meghan updates.

Just after the Olympics and when the cricket is too painful to watch (don’t bother making the obvious joke). Lovely stuff.

Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Milner, Keita, Elliott, Jota, Mane, Salah.

Strong first eleven.

Boom! Elliot gets selected in midfield ahead of Jones and Ox again. Interesting. van Djik's selection is a positive sign in terms of him starting against Norwich next week.

Looks like Kelleher has jumped ahead of Alisson in the pecking order too.

Nah. Alisson, Fabinho and Firmino only got got back from hols on Sunday so they will most likely be shaking off the rust with the second team in the second 60 minute game.

Jones hasn't featured as much in pre-season, think he had a knock, so they're probably easing him back in.  And Ox looks like he's earmarked as Bobby's cover up top.

But, it's really promising for Elliott and he's had a very good pre-season so far, slotted in without any issues in a position which is very tricky to play for us.

Loving how Harvey Elliott is getting every chance this pre-season, and so far his performances have shown why (and yes, both are linked I know!).

Really expecting him to play a bigger role in the coming season than maybe was anticipated.

Would be stunned (and also absolutely delighted) if Virg was considered physically fit enough and match sharp enough to start vs Norwich.

30 for Van Dijk/30 for Williams in this maybe (or 45/15)?

So second team I'm guessing:

Adrian, Neco Williams, Gomez, Konate, Tsimikas, Cain, Jones, Ox, Minamino, Origi, Gordon

With the same subs? Maybe Shaq and Phillips?
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Cain not with the team anymore - Clarkson I'd imagine.
