Been looking for a reggae song for ages, searched google countless times but can't find it anywhere.

All I know is it was called Warriors and the lyrics went like this:

We are the warriors, fighting for freedom,
Warriors, searching for freedom,
We are the warriors, fighting for freedom,
Warriors, living for freedom.

That was the chorus and no matter how much I search, I can't find it, used to be on a reggae album my mum had when I was growing up but I'll be fucked if I could find that album now, its atleast 15-20 years old I think.

If anyone can find it I'll really appreciate it :wave

Great late 70's cover of The Gaylads classic. The Clash must have heard this one.

Any room for some Rocksteady and Ska from the 60s and early 70s in here? :wave I've always preferred it to mid to late 70s reggae for some reason

Gotta have some Phyllis Dillon

What a thread. I have no idea about reggae music, I like Toots & the Maytalls and have some on my iPod (Monkey Man is probably my favourite), but didn't really know a lot else apart from Bob Marley obviously. I love this thread for introducing me to Eek A Mouse. Doing lots of lovely downloading now ready for holidays, perfect music for the sunshine.

on the album brutal, which is on amazon. made me dig out the 12" which is on as we speak  8)

(EDIT written by junior reid   - change of personnel after anthem, gabriel to collins situation like, if you get my drift, that's why it's off the radar IMO )

Thank's for that Dread.Look's like you're missing a decent gig, mate,I know how you feel,i want to see Holly Cook but her only date in this country this year and I'm away. ::) If you have'nt already you should give her album a listen. Some nice lover's rock and some good toasting from Horseman.Plus she's British,it's good to see some new talent from here.Oh yeah, her dad is Paul Cook, the Sex Pistol's drummer.
