We are very good. Lucas is fantatic, just one fuck up in 45mins and everything changes  :( Think we kill them early in the 2nd half

Lucas was under a bit of pressure and his first touch let him down. It happens to every single footballer now and then, it just happened in the most unfortunate place for us.

Lucas has been fine, one mistake skews the opinions of course but he didn't mean it.

Mistakes skew opinions? So you shouldn't base an opinion on the shit things he done just the positives?

Fucking joke of a mistake. Same thing every week in here... 'oh x defender was good other than when he gifted the other team a goal'

Exactly, he's been absolutely solid apart from the one time he was given the ball in a position of completely unnecessary pressure. God only knows what it will do for his confidence. All I know is that it's given Leicester all the motivation in the world.

Lucas shouldn't of even been put under that sort of pressure in the first place. That ball wasn't on with Leicester pressing high. Just kick the fucking ball up field keeper. This obsession we have of playing the ball out from the back at all times has caused us so many unnecessary problems. We just don't have the players to handle it.

This is the same game as the Manchester derby this morning. One side in complete control, 2 up then a calamitous mistake before HT.
Jürgen will settle the boys down at HT and we'll see this one out comfortably. We're much better than them.

Mignolet. Why the fuck did he have to pass to Lucas in that position.  Please bring Karius in.
We look to pass short from goal kicks all the time. Brass balls to put the blame on the keeper there.

Besides the mistake Lucas was very good. I always thought that Klopp wants to turn him into a CB to give our passing and overall another dimension....similar to the way Hummels plays this role...mistakes are more likely to happen then compared when playing it conservative but I thought the positives from that were pretty impressive...the passing of Lucas was outstanding!!
One thing does need to be said: in the post-Benitez era, there was media-led clamour (but also some politicking going on at the club) to make the club more English; the idea being that the club had lost the very essence of what it means to be ‘Liverpool’. Guillem Ballague 18/11/10

I'm not going to blame Lucas for that mistake as he's not a natural center-back. One of the first things you learn as a center-back is to never let the ball get away from your feet and if it does either then play it down the line or clear it.

Oh bollocks but never mind, I've seen enough to give us some confidence for the second half. What a touch from Sturridge.

Had to listen to most of it on headphones and maybe it was that but when we scored the second goal the atmosphere seemed spine tingling.

Lucas, though. Don't tell me no one saw that coming. But he's 'match-fit' and all that.

klopp should have seen that coming from a mile a way. wish we had big sam in charge..just hoof it..thats how football should be played. none of the shit passes to the keeper malarkey.

We've got 'footballers' all over the pitch, these things happen but I'm sure Jurgen will give them a boost at half time and we will realise the value of them players being on the pitch again. I'd rather Lucas was there to play it out from the back and join the play up than someone like Klavan who's less able to do so, particularly when we're trying to break quickly.

shit happens for our goal conceding... things like that will happen, nothing more you can do but just say "ah well"...

prior to that, we were superb, excellent first half and to be honest a massive mention of Daniel Sturridge, he's been absolutely fantastic really, working very hard for the team and creating chances as well as trying to take chances as well.

Brilliant.

I know some are brushing Lucas' mistake here off, but I'm furious about that. Coasting,  2 nil up and he does that? If it ends up costing us, it won't be so amusing. Sick of us gifting the opposition with goals or points. We've played brilient otherwise. Let's not fuck it up. 3 points for the taking here.
