easyjet banged all their prices up overnight. c*nts. for every match week

Iam interested in Leipzig as been there via Prague then to Leipzig to see friends then onto Munich for the match. The Prague flights are pricey so thinking of flying from Speke to Katowice then training or coaching it to Leipzig. The flights are less than £50 return and less than £30 if you are a Wizz Air member which I am.

I know it's been asked many times but what is a guesstimate of % that people with Napoli will be sorted?

Let's say we get another big away in knockouts if we qualify such as Barcelona etc, Would the club just use Milan as the requisite or could they go to Napoli 2022? Trying to think of all scenarios haha

I am having all the same thoughts as you ;D

Cheers, I really hope they keep the same policy of you keep the credit if someone else goes for you!

Any idea when ticket news will be released?
They will do. As unfair, and inconsistent, as it may sound, the club don't want any additions to the European away numbers which is why they try to restrict it to what it is.

This might be a dumb question but would it be easy to pass on a Milan away ticket if I couldn't go?

Have to fill out their details on booking for collection

So yes, if they're going without or will 100% book on once bought as you can't change it

Not sure what is going on in Milan for our game again.

but prices of hotels in the area we have stayed for the last 2 games are Sky High

last 2 games roughly £100 a nite with Brekky, all hotels are double+ for our dates

*** I believe its Milan Fashion week when we are in town (as it was last time)

Yeah thats the reason, was by far the most expensive of the 4 for me + not helped that its short notice so the prices are traditionally a little bit higher anyway.

Struggling here for flights under £300
spent all day sorting Girona & Leipzig
with plenty of issues, thanks to a certain Irish airlines shitty website.

Just booked the Milan Hotel for the night of the game though

Had issues with Ryanair myself when booking Berlin, was 79 quid, 5 checkout attempts later I'd paid £120

Those same flights are now £550, rediculous

If Manchester... Fly out Monday night 8.35 to bergamo currently £59

Plenty of routes back Wednesday for about £70 but will have to be a self transfer with a 2 hour layover somewhere so not covered

Klm is covered via Amsterdam for £114 at 12.50pm

also Birmingham > Barcelona (Monday) *
Barcelona > Milan (Tuesday)

* Ryanair and the dam issue again with the country selection when trying to pay.
at least I had a better idea this time.

**Not really arsed with Milan now, been 3 times in recent years
plus the hotels are SKY high in price, so its a brief in & out for us.

works out better all round for us, so happy with that.

Milan always has the potential for some fashion thing happening.

We went in April 2022 for the marathon and we actually had to move out of our hotel the day after the marathon as prices more than trebled.

It's an unusual city.

Not too bad, I'd have done the same but Como is on my fuck it list. Was gonna go when we played in bergamo but as said above hotels were a joke so did a day trip no hotel 6am flight home, bit the bullet this time it was manageable at 150 a night average

You are right unfortunately, Milan fashion week starts the night of the match. I fly to Milan every week for work to then get connecting trains to another part of Italy. Sometimes I stay overnight in Milan if I miss the connection and I dread the fashion week / furniture week as prices are sky high.
Only option is to look further out on the metro / train lines or take a chance and book the day before or the day you get in in case hotels have released rooms due to last minute cancellations.

Thanks, Thought as much
4 times in recent years I've been to Milan now
have always booked hotels in the same area/street (a short walk from Milan Centrale station)

*easier to find when arriving late at night, also handy for the airport express train when you need an early morning train/flight home.

paid a lot more than usual (3 of us in a trips room) on a free cancelation so I'll keep my eyes open.
but the hotel for Leipzig is very cheap, which makes up for it.
so its swings and roundabouts

Never keep checking :D it'll depress you

Had some Budapest flights drop over £100 over summer   :butt

It is satisfying looking at my £120 berlin flights being sold for £650 though, no doubt be 200 ish in a week or two

Its more a case of double/triple checking all the details (flights/dates/times etc)
I've booked so many different combinations for flights, routes & hotels.

wouldn't mind I put one of the surnames down twice.
like the Barcelona/Girona f@k up i made, good job it was spotted straight away.
2:00am Sunday morning on the Ipad amending names thankfully it never cost nothing this time.

Always have a check - free alterations for 24 hours

I changed my flight back for Milan and Girona a few hours after booking, to give me longer in the day there, Barca cost nothing flights were the same price, Milan cost me £26 by that time to change but means I get an extra 12 hours in Como

what about ticket collections though, Yes or NO.
I'd expect it to be a 100% YES.

but with the bigger allocation, the number of Staff required and the total mess they made of it last time (over 2 hours waiting outside) at a hotel not in a central position/location

along with the SKY high cost of hotel rooms, that just may make it not viable

Thoughts

I think it'll be announced as collections, then a scaled down version will happen or E-tickets will be sent - mainly to deter those who will book for the credit and not travel

Its fashion week like we said, its gonna cost the club a fuckin fortune to put 20+ staff up in hotels, flights, rent out a place to host it whilst all these other brands are doing something similar

Napoli they had 10 days notice from draw to game, I can see why that was E tickets

Milan... it's an extra week, just like LASK was though and that was E tickets with the club receiving the scan-in data - most likely scenario IMO

Tbf in Italy they check your name on the ticket to your ID as you enter the ground don't they.. so I think that removes the clubs obligation to check the name when collecting, and stops tickets being passed on as much last min and getting the credit as in theory the authorities will be checking on entry if thats the real person there

If they don’t do ticket collections surely anyone can just buy for the credit?

I’ve been to the San Siro before back in 2009, Torres 1-0, and I’d be fucking stunned if the club have some method of checking who did and didn’t scan into the ground done by liaising with Milan which shows an effective method of deciding who did or didn’t scan into the match, just seems a recipe for loads of people who went to the game losing the credit.

or
heard what happened afterwards

**I've been to the San Siro (as has my daughter) in the last few years for a league game.

despite it being law for name checks in Italy.
whilst I did get asked for my I.D (passport) I never had it, they just let me in after I showed my credit card with the name on.

My daughter wasn't even asked for I.D. whe  she went

I didn’t mate no, I’ve not been to a Euro away in a while I just loosely know that the official line is that if you don’t scan into the match, you don’t get the credit.

My point is I would be surprised (fucking stunned was probably exaggerating) if there is a sensible method for implementing that plan given what it was like last time I went (we were put metal protected busses, driven to the away end, marched in via police with AK47s etc.

Could be wrong of course.

In some ways Milan is one of the better Italian away's now in some ways.

the fact you can make your own way to and from the San Siro.
although they keep you in so long  afterwards you just about make the last metro.

then they make you walk a big detour to get into the car park to get to our section.

although saying that, there's at least 3 stop/start searches there.
possibly more depending which team we play and what end we get.

then those stair towers.

Get the metro to the ground no problems

At LASK the club sent lfc the data of who scanned in and who didn't.. Was about 60 who didn't, 30 of which proved they were there and had credit re-instated

Milan could do the same, so take plenty pics inside the ground, and buy a bevvy so it's on your bank statement IF it's not full collection

I've heard a rumour we're getting 4309 allocation and it's going to be partial collection, but no idea where it's come from, so it's a wild rumour

*** Or speak to the SLO, it helped some in Lask

I've heard a rumour we're getting 4309 allocation and it's going to be partial collection, but no idea where it's come from, so it's a wild rumour

They we're useless in Prague when one of ours wouldn't scan

"it must be fake then"
"we can't help, we have no spares it's an issue for the home club to sort etc.."

45 mins of persistence she pulls about 50 tickets out her bag and scans him in

Hello all, does anyone have experience of sitting with the home fans at the San Siro for an AC or Inter game CL game v us? Has anyone ever gone for one of the home hospitality packages to secure a ticket?

Considering this for my wife and I but want to gauge the expected level of hostility!

Thanks!

I wouldn’t do it in Italy personally.

to be honest I’m pretty certain your wife will be able to get a spare, good chance this drops to all members and even if it doesn’t they’ll be tonnes flying around.
