We've been sloppy athe times and we definitely play a slower tempo in these games against lower placed sides BUT that was a good half all things considered, more of a professional approach.

Lucas has been boss. Very impressed with Origi's hold up play. Some gaps are going to open now as they come forward for a goal... should play into our hands as long as we don't do the usual leaky defence routine

For those arsed, Lovren's thigh to Mignolet wasn't a back-pass. It's only a back-pass if it's from the foot. You can all continue now.

You could tell the comms were desperate to make a big deal of it, but realised they didn't actually know the rules, so several seconds of silence followed.

The are an awful team.
How does Pulis' team get away with so many fouls, its constant. Every time Gini is on the ball there is literally someone on his back, pushing pull, thank god he is so strong. Similarly with Can, he is constantly fouled - loved it when some tosser was grappling with him and he shrugged him off then threw him to the ground.

How it took until 45 for one of them to get booked says a lot about Moss as a ref. The fact that their crowd boo'd when he got booked suggest that clearly pulling someone shirt is ok there. I guess when you see that much of it.

Solid performance against a well organized side. Need to be strong defensively in the second half as Chadli and Robson-Kanu had great chances. Thought Can played well in this half.

Solid half anyway, don't mind this at all. Keeping it tight and then trying to get a screamer/set piece seems to be the way to beat us so don't mind at all trying to see if we can do it back.
